  • Same here. First time seeing the Cure after waiting 17 years and it was my first time at Red Rocks. I flew in from Calgary for the show. I can't imagine a more perfect venue than Red Rocks for my first Cure experience. Though I'd have to think a European crowd would be way better. No offense to anyone but the crowd at Red Rocks was certainly lacking in my opinion. Too many unknowledgeable "fans" who lacked enthusiasm and too many people more concerend with drinking and texting than the show.

  • Not a fan.

  • After the KC show, I was afraid he wouldn't be able to sing in Colorado. SO relieved he got his voice back. Thanks for the post!

  • I've got to say that I quite enjoyed the opening act. You guys want nothing but the Cure.

  • Yeah, the opener was good! I didn't catch the name of the band though. Do you know who they were?

  • The opening band was great. Awesome music. They knew their role too. No false pretenses with those guys. They're called 65 Days of Static.

  • We were there! I've got tons of video but I can't upload till we get home!! Watch my channel for updates!

  • Thanks for this. I was sick and had to give my tickets to a friend. He informed me today that they played for almost three hours straight :-( I wish I could have been there.

  • opening song was prayer for rain, and yes the opening act sucked so bad. they didnt even play the music was digital and a mockery!

  • this is 'prayers for rain'

  • If you have the opening song (Underneath the starts) please post!

  • Great show from row 24 center! Robert's voice wasn't too bad and the music was exceptional, I wish they would've played Fascination Street. Opening act sucked!!

  • Word on the street was that they almost canceled this show because he strained his voice two shows ago. Supposedly, he currently isn't even speaking offstage.

  • Amazing show!! 3 hours and 3 encores and the show just kept getting better as it went. One of the top five shows I've ever seen. Lots of songs from Disintegration. Great night, warm and rising moon on the cityscape horizon. Worth being late to work this morning.

  • yeahhh yeahhh yeahhh. thanks for the fast post. how was the voice throughout the show? sounds like he held back a little on this version of PFR. still good though

  • me too! holy shit did you see me?

  • i was there...nice post...and fast!
