  • They should of gave Disel/hybrid engines that would be a big plus.

  • Hmmmm where could I find 10,000lbs to pull around town.

  • @Truemoderate You can pull big ass trailers or boats or you have pull a trailer with 2 sequoias in the back!

  • that is a house....a house with wheels on the bottom

  • @CrashJSTest

I listen this from middle east version TV spot

  • @CrashJSTest "$9 for ever recall OR just paying off the law suits...Hmmmm. Lets just pay off the law suits!"-Ford.

  • @CrashJSTest No, its the same platform and same size.

  • @CrashJSTest The Camry has been built at that plant since 1987, but the 4Runner has NEVER been built outside of Japan. The 4Runner, Yaris, and Prius are the only models exported from Japan ONLY. 3 Toyota models compared to 10 Ford models. Hmm.

  • i agree with that the toyota is really strange because why would you DO THAT? because if another car is running and runs into you it could generate enough heat to blow up the gas tank.

  • sequoia is very bad

I have 5.7 and the whole interior made of fuckin breakable plastic

but before that i had expedition and you feel like a Pilot when you drive.

    also taho is good

(I'm NOT TALKING ABOUT HP and TOURQ)

  • @egnasso The Tahoe has more plastic than the Sequoia. The Pilot has horrible wind noise from cheap parts used underneath.

  • @ToyotaAvalon2011 i didn't mean Honda Pilot.

what i mean is the feeling of pilot :)

  • The biggest Toyota

  • i can part my baby no problem and i dnt need no dam cam. haha losers learn to drive

  • cant decide betwen tahoe or sequio .. its all about the budget sequia gonna coast me 5000 more.. then tahoe...

  • this cars big grill, small headlights and small windows make it look bigger than it is.

put it next to an expedition and it'll suddenly look more its real size

  • Wish they would bring the Excursion back, so people wouldn't have to keep buying this ugly piece of S***.

  • @Wiggi63 Yup. I want the Excursion.

  • Ford and GMC aren't going bankrupt. But with the 09-10 recalls and economical crisis, some people say Toyota might...

  • @MetropolisAnimeFan wat r u talking about no way

  • ur hilarious. a recall is a recall. you'd be surprised what your beloved "honest" american car manufacturers are hiding from you.

  • @MetropolisAnimeFan dnt worry toyota will still have sales over seas in apan and europe. ford and gmc dnt sell to well outside the state

  • @MetropolisAnimeFan I have $250k worth of stock with Toyota. The recalls made it double. These people know hot to make money.

  • that suv is nice but bad on gas lol i like it because it has a small sterin wheel

  • are this cars build in the us?

  • @pinkcheckerd Designed and Built by americans for americans.

This is mostly an american car, just few japanese standardized parts.

  • i dont know why anyone would ever buy this car. the chevy tahoe is WAY better

  • i wish it started at just uner 35000$ now

  • Hey!!I really like this car and I want to know..how often do you go to the gas stop??and how much money does it need to get a full tank?

  • @MrColdStove it has about 12 litres per 100kms so its not that easy on gas

  • this car is amazing... got in a semi-big crash in my friends sequoia, i was sitting in the passenger seat and got no scratches. this car saved us... (and no it wasn't because of the pedal lol)

  • Here's a man's review: It's Big and it kicks your avg soccer Mom's butt as she pulls up in a mini-van, or worse a Volvo or worse her husband drives either one and NOT the Sequoia. Parking is a breeze with the Camera. People yield to you on the highway, but try to cut you off as if you were driving a SEMI, no worries, the HORN is LOUD. The undercarriage is strong and you find a few SmartCars under there now and then. Tahoe and Expedition don't compare, more like Cady ESCALADE ESV, but manlier.

  • I wish I can live in the USA. In Turkey this car costs between 150.000 and 200.000 thousand $ and 12.000$ tax per year! But in the USA are SUV`s very cheap

  • GM is my Favourite, but toyota is also amazin!!

  • 76ers, The recall you speak of was voluntary not government mandated. Toyota has problems with 5 units of 2 million and they voluntarily act to eliminate the problem. They stop production because of their commitment to produce the worlds best vehicles. My Sequoia is over 230,000Km and working brilliantly, it doesn't squeak or rattle.. My Dad, a die hard Dodge/GM man and mechanic, can't believe how little time he has spent under his truck since he bought a 02 Tundra

  • Toyotas are all crap. And people choose them over the big 3. Toyotas now recalling over 2 million cars. They even suspended buyers from getting new ones. Nobody can buy a new toyota until problems are fixed. I LOVE IT. There so nice, there so fuel efficient, there so reliable- BULLSHIT . Thats why foreign cars suck.

  • give me a break. you're comments prove that unintelligent people do exist. GM has had more recalls than any other car maker in history. They have the worst record of not fixing issues, and producing lemons. Surprised that they haven't had a major recall recently. Oh and BTW this is the first major Japanese recall in history, and isn't it funny that it is the new Toyota that were all designed and made in America by Americans?

  • 1. yes gm did have many recalls. but not ones that were that dangerous. 2. they never had to stop production sales of any vehicle due to recalls. 3. toyotas are not designed by americans for the final time. some are built in america that is true

  • NONE THAT WERE DANGEROUS?!!?! they were FORCED to recall a pickup truck sold in the 70's because the gas tank was placed directly under the driver seat and people were getting blown up because of cigarettes being dropped on the floor mat that adsorbed fuel from the tank below it. They also had a number of vehicles that had issues with the electrical system and prevented the airbags from deploying. GM leads the way in recalls. this is Toyota first, and it was a problem from America.

  • gm's problem in the 70s was not that bad as you think. anyway that was the 70s. back then a lot of things went wrong. but now its this year where people should know a lot about cars. toyota sucks at that. the problem was not from america when toyota is a japanese company.

  • gm problems not as bad as you think?...cmon...toyota recalled millions..but doesnt mean millions are all bad...they do it for potential reason...and its a pedal (which they dont make)...u still c more high milage toytota on the road than GM

  • @76ersbbball you're very wrong. Toyota is a Japanese company. But that means nothing when the vehicles recalled are all designed, made, and sold in the United States. Buy a Toyota Camry in Japan, and it is COMPLETELY different than the Camry in America. You know nothing. Funny that when they put Americans in charge of their vehicles, things get fucked up.

  • @J40d lol if you want to buy an american car like GM chevy or anything then thats fine, just dont be crying when you're paying thousands of dollars for repairs.. :)

  • @76ersbbball

Each market has its own designs.

  • now that is the truth it seems that us americans cant build cars like the japanese can hahahahah

  • shut up!..

  • here it starts at 40,000

  • use full truck at the right price if, your a family of 4 or more, and you either go offroading allot, or towing a trailer, the nice thing of sequia is that it cost $20,000 less than the Land Cruiser, If you go Offroading allot, go with the SR5, IF you want luxury and you tow trailer, go with 2WD Limited or Platima, if you don't tow or go offroading then, Sienna or the Avalone would be perfect for you

  • IF Chevy, GMC, and Cadillac goes out of business, then Toyota needs to work on the longer wheelbase verson of the Sequoia

  • Need a mans voice.................

  • ماشا ءالله بس ثقيييييييييييييل مررررة!..

  • Can someo tell me the main differences between this and the Kluger/Highlander ?

  • @lucasfan18 :There is no difference. Just the names, and maybe the symbols on the front grille, and possibly a few options.

The Kluger is in Japan, and the Highlander is our version of the Kluger.

  • which is roomier in the 3rd row seat between this and the expedition?

  • reguardless of space (sequoia is HUGE) the reliability of the sequoia is 100x better than expidition

  • actually its just as reliable as the expedition, and the 3rd row is about same size, however the ride is alot better in the expedition, and can probably get a better deal on an expedition.

  • @skittleschocolate 100x reliability to get crushed n get killed..

  • no. reliability to not burst into flames when you attempt to turn on cruise control.. frankly id rather die instantly than be burned alive on the highway.

  • @skittleschocolate u r ryt..n evry car manufacturer has a recall.

  • the Dodge Grand Caravan, because we used to had a dodge grand Caravan and it had the most confortable third row seat of any minivan and SUV.

  • @sideslide23

okay, but what is your answer between MY options?

  • Caravan is a minivan, not a SUV, he asked between the sequoia and expedition

  • best reliable large SUV in the world.

  • wut a beast!

better dan the tahoe, n armada

  • such a big beast! i like it! gotta have one!

  • this thing with the Platinum package is a Escalade eater.

its roomier (no lie), just as fast, just as luxurious and the price tag is lower. This thing will suprise you!

Its just a foreign brand. If you can live with that...

  • Love it!

  • this things better.... just more expensive.

  • MMMMM i went with the Armada but i have regrets...!!!!

  • haha my friend just sold this piece of shit

  • your jealous of japanese cars thats why you keep bashing them

  • anybody knows what the smoothes fullsize suv is right now?

  • best car in it's class

  • ...thats a big ass car

  • looook so ugly i would get a jeep i hate driving jap cars

  • jeeps look like boxes on wheels. there ugly look like ambulances

  • u cant afford jap cars...

  • F*ck everyone who says GM is better than toyota. Everyone knows that Toyota is on top of the line. stupid GM and its Shity vehicles causing ppl problems and almost going completey out of business. SO by a toyota not damn GM

  • The Tundra may be statistically better than the SIlverado but it will NEVER... EVER out sell the Silverado

  • ummm the tundra has already out sold the silverado, F-150 and the Ram in 07 and 08. so yeah i guess statistics are as good on the road as they are on paper.

  • u wanna type that sentence again so I can laugh harder at it buddy?

The F-150 & Silverado TRASH the Tundra in sales and have... always.

I got a little evidence to back that up to... unlike you

  • 2005 F-150- 901,XXX Tundra- 126,XXX 2006 F-150- 796,XXX Tundra- 124,XXX 2007 F-150- 690,XXX Tundra- 196,XXX 2008 F-150- 515,XXX Tundra- 137,XXX
  • @JohnThomasB

901 grand F-150s?! Fucking spoiled rich Americans care nothing about polluting the Earth and giving trillions to Middle East for oil.

  • @JohnThomasB

Americans care nothing about polluting the Earth. That's why they drive huge pickups when they don't need to and they give trillions to Middle East for oil.

  • By 2005 Toyota Motor Corporation managed to sell 126,529[57] Tundras. The best selling Ford F-150 sold 756,980 units that same year. With the added capacity of the San Antonio plant, Toyota planned to sell around 200,000 Tundras for 2007. Toyota missed its sales target for 2007, selling just under 200,000 vehicles.

For all of 2007, Sierra sales were over 12,000 more than Tundra, Silverado sales were more than 422,000 over Tundra and the F150 was once again the sales leader.

  • Hell, where did you get that? Out of your ass?

Your claimed "statistics" is off the graph! I'm not biased, but Ford and Chevy definetely sell more than Toyota, and so does the Ram.

  • im not on either side...i like both asian and american cars....but i gotta agree....trucks r huge sellers in the redneck south

  • i live in Alabama and most of the cars on the road are trucks that people have suped up with big wheels and massive exhausts so people can hear their stupidity coming a mile away. Most of the people who do drive them dont even use them to transport anything or for work, just to haul their massive egos around... i guess my point is there shouldn't be cars this big on the road, they may me safe for the people driving them, but if you get hit by one, good luck.

  • i agree with you...small people or people with lower intelligence like big vehicles to make them feel better....but there are some who actually need a big vehicle to tow or haul many people in rough terrain...

  • Why do people say Japanese cars are reliable? They aren't! My family has had two Toyota's. My uncle, and my sister the other. They hated them. They're were always little things going on, and since there were warranties on them, they were brought to the dealerships countless times, until it was enough, and BOTH of them swtiched to GM cars, A Cadillac CTS, and an SRX, they haven't had one problem in the last year with either cars.

  • Cadillac is the best of GM and those particular cadillac models are the most expensive and well built GM Cars PERIOD.of course they are good But the rest of gm cars Suck's especially cheaper cars Unless you have deep pockets and buy a cadillac Anyone else who buys any other Division of GM is Royaly SCREWED. P.S WHAT TOYOTA MODEL DID THEY BUY & YEAR, i know TOYOTA YARIS IS JUNK THATS ABOUT IT MAYBE IT WAS a Cheap model too?

  • I have always owned a GM car, and they have never failed me, ever. They were great cars, and now I have an Enclave, and I have had it for a year now, and it is excellent! But it was an 07 Avalon, and an 08 Highlander.

  • Buick is a brand that is aimed for the "older" crowd and since so will try not to be cheap knowing its main consumers do not appreciate cheapness in car compared to a younger consumer who probably are more Concerned with style and trends and performance so it is not surprising how a buick has been so far reliable they generally are especially a new buick model. now as for the toyota's did they buy them used because that is surprising for those models.

  • It WAS aimed for older customers, not the case anymore, but yes the new ones are very good, but oh idk if they were used? But if they were used shouldn't people be confident to buy them since they are "reliable" lol

  • because they could have been a fleet used car. ps buick cars still look like ugly old people cars :P.

  • Lol you lost get over it, and you had to throw in the Buick judgement to get at me to bother me, lol you failed, dumbass.

  • lost i didnt know i was playing a game lol, i was saying how buick is still focused on older people, ty for your time C()ckSucK3R

  • Lol...time to grow up I believe my friend.

  • "dumbass" i think i can say the same for you

  • My 1st car was a 1993 Toyota Corolla... A new radiator, starter, a few batteries and belts is all thats ever gone wrong.

I still have it and it still drives. Its my second vehicle to my F-150

  • Fantastic? My first car was an 81 Cadillac deville, and all that is wrong with it was the roof lining needed to be replaced. Better than anything Asian.

  • Oh shutup.

  • @BahrainThunder ford.. bankrupt? their focus fusion edge and escape are selling like crazy!!! how are they bankrupt? and yea toyota is the best.. just get a micro chip to raise the gas milage :)

  • @bronh12 even if there cars are selling they are still in alot of debt like ALOT of car companies

  • @BahrainThunder ford never went bankrupt and have led in best selling models for years now. GM tho, i will not defend

  • @BahrainThunder ford never went bankrupt

  • @BahrainThunder maybe if you would buy GMC or Ford. i would help american economy!!

  • @shqiperiany The Toyota plant in Georgetown, KY helped the economy of KY thrive. More Fords are built in Mexico than Toyotas are built in Japan. The Fiesta, Ranger, Edge, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Focus, F-250, F-350, Expedition, Explorer, and Sport Trac are all built in Mexico where the Toyota Avalon, Venza, Corolla, Matrix, Camry, Sienna, Sequoia, Tacoma, Tundra, Highlander, and RAV4 are built in America.

  • @ToyotaAvalon2011 Like this comment 1000000 times. People just dont look at the facts before they sart typing. Its a shame, the jap cars are more American then the Fords. But it rocks for me, Cause I know Im supporting America when I buy a Toyota.

  • @BahrainThunder Ford is not Bankrupt, nor did they receive any money from the government, Ford has been the largest selling auto maker these last quarters, and now remain #1 auto maker in the world, and Ford now is profitable.

  • Comment removed

  • @BahrainThunder Ford isnt bankrupt. they declined the bailout.

  • sitting on this car make you feel and understand they way Japanese corporate operates, it is precise and reliable but dull with no fun at all..much like GM in early 90s.

  • American designed the exterior pretty good but not the interior. Toyota should let the Japanese design devision designs the interior

  • ههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههه

  • WTF It Tow Better Than The 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Come On Dodge

  • why the hell do you need back seats that move like that?..why wood you move them forward?....another crappy jap junk

truck..its time to look at american cars and trucks again and support the country we live in ..keep the money here and dont give it to the japs ...do you really think they give a shit about this country other then our money?...but the big 3 do...i wood wave my american flag proudly if they failed....take care of this country first keep your money here

  • Ah...Chevy builds its trucks in Canada. Toyota builds them in Alabama. Has a total of 13 plants and employs over 40k americans.

And they guy that sells me my Toyota lives in my town and eats at my resteraunt...so - I do better taking care of my country - by buying Toyota.

Freakin GM KILLED america...they should be ashamed.

  • yep chevy has a plant up there ..so does ford..thats nothing new,,but when those cars are sold guess what ?..the money goes to both of there world headquarters rite here in the US..not toyota...world headquarter's JAPAN ..do you really think they care about our country...nope..just our money ...were was toyota with donations when 9/11happened,,they looked the other way , but the big 3 gave millions of $and donated vehicles...NOT TOYOTA. yep..i can clearly see toyota care's by what they did

  • would have loved to buy american...been driving Ford my whole life, own a mustang and expedition right now - but with taxes going up, and GM and Ford not coming through with financing...its a hard deal my man...you up for giving an extra $100 per month to drive a Ford? I dont have that type of coin.

  • yeah..its tuff all over..but seeing you have a resteraunt i thought you could swing it easy ...maybe a fleet of lincoln's

  • Its a hot dog / hamburger joint -

Take care 390 - Be Well, God Bless.

  • well..i like hotdogs...how bout a few with everything to go?....ok..good luck

  • So would you rather employ American workers through Jap companies or fund American CEOs as they outsource everything to make more money?

  • no. but you can buy anything that the japs dont have there hand in but the big 3 have to do that becuase of the goverment

making them have a certain percentage of japan parts on them ..and no toyota wood ever stand up to what an american truck can do ..i work on all kinds and see it for myself and i have a 77 f 150..i dont see [ONE] vehicle from japan that is this old or in the 80's..and only a handfull of90's out there ,to much toyota hype going on

  • I really didn't understand what you said, other then that there are no Toyota trucks from the 80's on the road. That doesn't mean that new American are equal or better to Japanese or German autos. You're only biased because of blind patriotism, not because of empirical data. There's a reason American autos have poor resale value. Plus, if you are not a construction worker or a redneck, who cares about trucks? That's just a portion of the auto market.

  • it does mean there at least as good and in fords case..better..fords quality is higher then toyota or honda rite now..so they have really stepped it up and its showing people that they can build better vehicles ,,and german cars really have a lower quality issue then anyone else..just becuase you spend really big american dollars on a german car doesnt really mean you paid for better quality ..and thousands of people care about trucks

    [THOUSAND'S]

  • This is the typical argument made for American cars. "They are just as good." "They are at least as good." You'll never see someone with an equal or superior product saying it is just as good as inferior crap, because it is a joke. That's the best people can say about American autos if they want to be patriotic; "They are just a good." There's a reason they are going bankrupt, they suck. And German autos are actually the best in the world. You need to do better research.

  • no argumant none at all really...fords quality is higher then toyota or honda..funny..i just took a 525 mile trip ..i didnt see one of your suppirior toyotas or honda on the road that was more then 7-9 years old..why is that?..but i have seen ALOT OF OLDER AMERICAN CARS ON THE ROAD ..drove the hole way in my 90 grand marquis.i seen alot of them on the trip, but [NOT ONE] older jap car on the raod..that must mean something ?..ok..your turn

  • Your information is anecdotal at best. You could have seen nothing but German cars on your little trip, doesn't mean people only buy German autos. You could have seen only Ferarris, doesn't mean everyone is rich. You are taking an extremely small sample of data. Not only does this only give evidence to cars along that stretch of road, but it also only tells you the cars the were on the road at that time. It seems like you are likely to be very superstitious. I take it you are very religious?

  • no..i dont have deep pockets to make a huge test..all i know is the 525 mile trip i have taken and i didnt see [ONE] older japanese car on the road..so that does tell me something..it tells me..were [ARE] all the older jap cars ?..were?...if out of all that driving ..i only see older american cars on the road..so yes...it does prove something ..i dont have to drive coast to coast to come up if that fact there wasnt [ANY] older jap cars out there,,but i did see alot of older american iron

  • Maybe you live in and were driving to an area with people that can old afford "old american iron." Tells me more that you were driving next to poor people, not that American cars are even as good as others. I've never met anyone who's kept their car more then 3 or 4 years. When people buy new cars they are less likely to buy American, because they suck. So, judging from you "scientific " trip, poor people don't buy Jap cars and moderately wealthy or rich don't buy American.

  • no i dont live in palm springs . but i did go to ocean city delaware and all kinds of people come from all over the east coast to visit there in all kinds of cars..and i stil didnt see [any ] older jap cars on the entire trip..i wouldnt say ocean city was beverly hills. but its not cheap there either to live ..all kinds of people from all over different states and not one older jap built car ..so it does say something about the quality of there cars

  • It doesn't say anything about the quality of older Jap cars. You're drawing obscure conclusions from a poor sampling of data. This is what you can also decide from your "experiment." Since Jap cars have higher resell values, poor people would rather buy the old cheap American car then the old more expensive Jap car. It could also tell you that people that buy Jap cars also can afford and prefer new cars to old ones. See, you're only observing what you want and drawing a conclusion that you like

  • the fact remains the same..tell me why i didnt see any of older jap cars out there?..didnt toy's quality mean anything just becuase its 10 years old or older?..they bragged about it then too ..it still tells me were are all the older jap cars [IF] they were so suppirior ,,toyota bragged about there quality for many years..i guess no one can answer this when this question come's up ..they dance around the question....WERE ARE ALL THE OLDER JAP CARS?.if they are so [SUPPIRIOR]?

  • uh....75% of all toyotas from 1990 r still on the road 2day....u prob..live in a redneck town...thats why u dont see them....which explains ur lovin trucks and american centric remarks....by the way....toyota land cruisers are the toughest truck based vehicles around ...they used them in the dessert...and they even pulled a hummer out of situations....youtube it...

  • well i live in north east part of the country and you dont see i jap truck that is from the early 90's ..they all died and rotted away , but i can hop in my 77 f 150 , drive around town and still see plenty of older american trucks working for a living but not one jap truck that is maybe 10/12 old out there ..lets face it..toyotas are like the rodney dangerfields of trucks...they get no respect ..toyota land ruisers are not the tuffest trucks to rome the planet..toyota sucks ass

  • u must not get out much....lol....u see "jap" vehicles everywhere...there is a reason they are the biggest car company...and GM went bankrupt....read any reviews and they rank the land cruiser as the best performer.....its is legendary...i dont see saudi arab kings using ford or gm ....they can afford anything...and they pick land cruisers....

  • your full of shit...all those raghead countrie's use alot of am...american trucks...and go to any job site..you dont see any jap trucks on the job..other then someone stopping by at the site to drop off lunch....toyota cant even make a tialgate...let alone a full size truck ...and..for as bad as the pinto was...there are more peole killed in a toyota lexas then the cheap ford pinto...

toyota and their staff of sneeks can get out of my country

  • and all those jobs toyota has brought to all the Americans... they can take those jobs out of your country too right?

  • toyota could close thier doors tonight and nothing would make me happier...and the jobs with them..i'm sure ford and GM would love to pick up the slack and hire thousands of americans

  • all they brought were dealership jobs thats about it, GM and GE still occupy the most Americans and people internationally. Even if toyota goes bankrupt(which it won't) there are other dealerships always looking for employees

  • You could very well be the most ignorant, backwoods, inbred hick currently commenting on YouTube. How have you even gotten access to a computer? It's awkward, but sort of entertaining, like a dog walking on it's hind legs.

  • You know how the informed consumer picks vehichles? They look at reviews and articles, which all point to American cars not being as good (in most cases). American autos have more defects, have lower resell values, lower gas mileage, and on and on. There are exceptions to this, but most of the time they suck. Why do you think the Toyota Camry has been the #1 selling car in AMERICA for the past 10 years? And I've actually read and seen that there are more old Hondas on the road then any make

  • SURE..AMERICAN CARS WERENT so good, but they have stepped up to the plate and just look at ford...even you have to see it for yourself that there quality is higher then toyota or honda now...rite?

i think in the last year and a half camry's have had 3 reaclls.but the ford fusion..[zero]..so that says something ..i really think its only a matter of time when the big 3 will top all others ...its starting to happen now, but it will take time

  • Maybe they will turn things around, and I hope they do. I want a luxury SUV, but look what I have to put up with if I want to buy American - chrome and shiny nigger shit all over it. I want something classy and technologically advanced. So I'm forced to buy either Japanese, German, or Swedish. Big 3 have a LONG way to go.

  • well i happen to like chrome...things today are to momochrome . but i dont like those big stupid ass wheels , but chrome is nice..but people have to give the big 3 another chance..at least ford anyway ..ford has shown itself that it can build a quality product and compete again

but yes..they have a long way to go and today it's so hard to convince the american public of that old thinking that toyota ='s quality

  • i wouldnt criticize honda

    honda maintains a high value

    and its built well

    and its fun to drive

but i do agree that ford and gm have been improving much and toyota has been slipping quite a bit lately

  • i just dont like imports at all

  • What import!? Many, if not all, models of Toyota are made in the good ole USA! Including a large manufacturing plant in Kentucky. Other states include California, Alabama, Texas, Indiana, W. Virginia, and Mississippi. Some make cars and others make the parts! Toyota may be a foreign brand but a lot of factories are in the US. And its not like the US brands don't have factories outside the country themselves either!

  • sure..ford has a plant in cannada since i cant remember when ..and in mexico ..thats doesnt make them imports ..and ford has a few plants over the world but those vehicles stay in those countrie's ...toyta can be 100%built here...its still an import now matter how hard you try to cover that up ..toyta's headquartrs are in [JAPAN] ..and with our money also..ford world headquarter's is [1 AMERICAN RD DEARBORN MI,.48126-2798].no matter who they imploye..the profit comes home here[U,S,A]]

  • true...sort of.....but ur missing the point..that they employ USA workers....which keeps the economy going....where as the profit "coming back to the USA" will go to GM or Ford CEO....money u will never see

  • so by getting a jap vehicle you think that money stays here??/dont be a fool..toyotas headquaters are in down town tokyo japan...not dearborm M,I?,,so thats were your hard earned american money goe's..japan..not here....and toyota sucks ass

  • @390merc65

Imports are subject to import tarrifs. Sequoias are not subject to import tariffs since they are built in the US. What is an import what isn't is up to the government not you.

  • @390merc65

Actually that Ford's original headquarter. Now they have headquarters all over the world. Have you seen the flags at Ford's Detroit headquarters? Not only the US flag is there.

  • i agree with you. it's sad but japaneses companies make better cars. its that simple

  • What do you mean it's sad?

They put more money, time, and quality into making their cars. That's something GM didn't learn how to do yet.

  • Thousands of people? What a joke. Well, MILLIONS of people care about cars and SUVs. How many luxury trucks do you see? Trucks are ugly, uncomfortable, and everyone I see driving them other then for work has anger problems. If the best American automakers can put out is trucks then they will never succeed.

  • i can see by your reply that your a yuppy

i'm sorry..i guess i should of said there are millions of people out there buying trucks everyday ..and i can reacll toyota haveing a few issues of there own..like buy back becuase of rusty frame's?.engine failure?..slip yokes breaking, but yeah ..your rite ,,toy's are soooooo much better,, face it [FORDS QUALITY IS HIGHER THEN YOUR BELOVED TOYOTA OR HONDA NOW..japan crap.and keep the american flag off your car ..ok..

  • I can see by your replies that you are an American, probably a redneck, definitely Caucasian. Most likely a High School diploma, but a very small chance you have a Bachelor's degree. If you were born in Japan someone such as yourself would blindly praise Japanese autos. You would ignore their defects and scoff at American cars. I actually don't "love" Toyota or Honda. I just like having the best product. I don't care what country it comes from as long as it's the best.

  • trucks are beautifull..dont be scared in your prius when a big truck pulls behind you ..ok..and just remember?..[WHEN] your toyota breakes down it will be a ford or chevy to come and scrape you off the road and take you back to your faithfull toyota dealer ....BIGFOOT mean anything to you?..long live the old gas guzzlin . air poluting american V8 trucks

  • Beautiful? You are hilarious. I bet you think beauty is a car in your lawn on cinder blocks? I can't be to harsh though, someone has to do all the back breaking and undesirable work. Funny you should mention it, my mom owns a Prius. I'll be laughing when I drive by your Truck as it runs out of gas, since you won't be able to afford $5 gallon gas (not that we live anywhere near each other) and honk my little Prius horn. I actually plan on buying a Tahoe btw.

  • no..i'm glad we dont live close to each other ..i try to stay out of the bronx..but anyway ..and your rite .someone has to do all the heavy lifting becuase toyotas sure as hell cant do any of it....leave the heavy work to the big boys here ok..were not affraid to chip our nails...so you just stay in the house were you belong

  • That's right, you fix my roof, mow my lawn, and clean my bathroom while I go live life. I actually live in Tampa, but I don't know why you would think the Bronx is upscale. And you act like Toyota trucks have some inferior inline 4 engine. They all can carry the same shit. You're just pissed our country is going to hell. I'm just not going to pretend that American products are better to make me feel better. It's not patriotism, it's ignorance.

  • sure..yo go have your bubble bath ..am i suppoed to be impressed that you live in fla?..you can keep all that humid hot weather ..i'll stay in PA ,,no..i dont think they have inferior 4cly, there v8's are good , but the rest of the truck is lousy and flimsy ...look around down there ..even you wont see toyotas doing hard work , but i am not blinded into thinking toy's are so suppirior over the big 3s vehicles now..i am open minded and i work on all of them

  • i'll be laughing as my gas guzzlin truck crush's your tiny prius as i drive by , but i will give you that one..i get about 11 mpg's, but i wouldnt see your moms car hauling anything more then just a pack of smokes ,,,and hey ...buy american ..go for that tahoe..i hope it works out good for you
