  • You notice how he knows how to do this? …….. it looks like he stayed at a Holiday Inn

  • great video...check out mine

  • why dont you make any more videos? do you have a new channel?

  • What salinity should my water be, temp and light exposure? When fragging thanks

  • My GSP are growing like crazy! I got mine in the mail and they opened right up but I guess it depends on what lights you are using, im using MH.

  • I got some green star polyps 5 days ago and they haven't opened yet... What do you think?

  • when I first got these years ago I remember they didn't wanna open for a week. DONT WORRY. Unless your system is total crap GSPs will open and will be creeping along your aquascape in no time.

  • @SROD12321 mine opened in the first hour

  • you know if you have a dog and he eats it it could kill your dog and it can blind you too so be carefull but cool though i just got some yesterday and i have a 12 gallon eclipse tank

  • that only for certain types of zoas

  • if you dont want to go thought all of the troble of fraging just put a pice of rock or snail shell that the snail is gone and in a weeek the polipis should had atached to the rock or snail shell and keep avised to not let the green polips toch othere rock due to the fact that it will overe take your tank and kill your otherr corals and lose plety of corals ok thx cheek out my page for more in fo

  • Exactly what I did. :) I placed an empty shell right next to it and the polyps started growing on it. I have a space between the main rock and the other rock in my tank to prevent too much spreading.

  • Love the Holiday Inn towel ;)

  • how fast did your GSP sperad. i just got some

  • are those just regular latex disposable gloves you'd get at any rite aid?

  • hey i have a question when you put the super glue gel does your coral die

  • Any super glue gel should work and no it will not release chemicals as it dries or sets into a solid. I personally use the super glue gel they sell at the dollar stores it comes in a 3 pack for a dollar.

To the person about fragging in the tank...you can just make sure you run carbon. The best method for you would be peeling some of the tissue or use something to scrape it off the rock.

  • so just straight up gel super glue?

  • thanks cant wait to try it out by the way im 15 and last year i cut my wrist pretty bad with the craft knife. not bad ? but the mushrooms released a fluid and it iritated me for months ! were can i get a green polyp frag cheap ?

  • good to meet another fellow 15 year old reef hobbyist!!! you can get a cheap frag from any hobbyist with the green polyp coral because they grow like weeds and many people throw them out

  • I'm 13... but i just got new green star polyps, they won't open, it's been about 5 hours since i put them in there, should i just be more patient?

  • definitley be more patientif they dont open by the end of 48 hours then start to worry but just wit and leave them be and hopefully they will open

  • I had som matalic green's and they didn't open for a week and then they just took off

  • Safety. Saltwater aquariums are harsh environments and its always a good idea to wear gloves to help prevent some of these chemicals from causing irritation. Doesn't always happen but it is still common to get irritation and redness from the chemical defenses of corals.

  • Where did you get the Holiday Inn towel?? ROFL

  • Super helpful video, thanks.

I have a bunch of GSP on a huge rock that I can't remove. Can I frag in my main tank, or will it release bad stuff into my system?

  • ok cheers for advice il give it a try

  • cheers just was worried that the chemicals in superglue would affect livestock is it aquarium super glue or just standard glue that fixes household goods

  • Super Glue Gel - make sure its the gel, the normal stuff is too fluid and won't work well.

  • does the super glue affect the polyp

  • No, superglue gel is pretty safe to use unless you cover the tops of the polyps.
