I think strikers have advantages wihtout criticize wrestling which I love since I practiced greco roman. Strikers champions are Cruz, Aldo, Anderson, Dos Santos and St Pierre is a decorated Kyokushin karate master with wrestling and grapping skills. If I have to advice anybody I'll say Judo-Jujitsu as the base, then Kyokushin karate.

I don't rule out wrestling but use it and then transition into submissions is great. Wrestling is easier to learn and dominate than jujitsu or striking. Lesnar is a great wrestler but his striking needs to be polished. Also when in the ground just pound not always work. He submitted Carwin beautifully with a kata gatame shime (japanese) technique.

I'm a wrestler and a boxer and I know 1st hand that a lot of 1 dementional wrestlers dont take hits well and I saw it in Brock in the 2nd Mir fight and the Randy fight Overeem has way too much experience and devastating striking skills The only way Brock wins is if Overeem cant defend the shot and/or work his way back to the standing position Sorry it's not a toss up Overeem will be favored to win

Maybe. One never knows. But other than setting up Brock for a win I don't see why they'd make that match happen. And Nelson may well beat Brock, who would be coming back from an operation and a long delay, and then what? Nelson cannot compete at heavyweight until he sheds that fat and puts on some lean muscle.
