None of you were there. None of you know what went through Deputy Hoppers mind when she took the call. None of you work in the dispatch center for Clark County. I do...So please...don't sit out there and make your speeches on what you would do if you were the deputy or worked in the dispatch center because none of you do know. None of us knew it would be her final call. None of us knew the suspect was still on the premise....no one knew not even the people whose window he shot through.
you dont know shit ! you don't know shit about suzanne hopper or the sick fuck that killed her ! and i am thankful that he is dead ! it takes one more piece of trash off the streets !
Rest In Peace Suzanne... You served you Tour Of Duty with Dignity, Distinction and Honor...Then - you paid the Ultimate Price - to protect the citizens of Clark County - when you were shot and killed - by a deranged gunman...
Now - your presence, kindness, and your beautiful smile - will be sadly missed - by your family, friends, fellow deputies and co-workers, officers from the surrounding area, and the citizens you served... As we try to cope with your death...
what a terrible, senseless, tragedy. another mentally ill man is murdered by police. i wish the woman that got killed would of chose to stay home and be a mother to the two children she gave birth, instead of being out playing hero. her failure to perform her duty correctly cost her life and the life of a poor mentally ill man. people should be parents or police, not both. its not fair to children that need their love and devotion. the springfield police should be investigated on murder charges.
@jayecleveland "Failure to perform her duty correctly"? She didn't wade in there guns a-blazing. She was ambushed by Ferryman while investigating a report of shots fired. Now if YOU were out there checking it out it would have been "playing hero," but that's her JOB: protecting knee-jerk reactionists like you as well as the rest of us.
@Artstsym yeah, well if i went out there, i would of had dispatch check on the neighbors for previous complaints to see if any of them had felony records and taken the proper caution and had back up ready, when approaching their dwelling. but i am not a cop, so what the hell do i know? sounds like maybe she had the knee-jerk reaction in assuming everthing was safe. her mistake and failure to get information on the site, resulted in her death and the death of a poor, old, mentally ill, man.
It would have been a shame if he didn't get a deputy.
