@lewissmallwoods I don't think Terminator salvation was "epic" at all, the characters were bland, it had plot holes the size of Texas,The Marcus character was ridiculous and made nonsense at all.They never made infiltrators before John became famous he is the reason they were made and plus it's a big tribute to the Mel Gibson film the road warrior,so personally I only believe their are really two terminator films the franchise has been pissed on it's done.
Then if by some way they can still tie in the previous stories and identify them as being a part of this Terminator Multiverse, then all will be one and can still be considered Canon. I mean comon isn't Time travel the bending and changing of space time? If they have that crap why can't they have a multiverse as well? Why not even dive into the possibility that Skynet could have ultimately created humanity Billions of years ago just to ensure it's own creation and survival? It should be consider
The only way to fix the broken canon world of the Terminator is by considering all the movies games and original comics, a part of the same multiverse similar to what Marvel comics did with their major franchise. If they decide to remake Terminator 1, 2, and continue the universe of Terminator 4 since it somewhat stays canon, then they have a chance of creating a Terminator story that is better looking, more modern, and stays true to the story alot better then the past renditions.
Who else thinks that this game's story should be the next Terminator movie? (Journeying to Skynet and getting Reese to the time machine) It could and should be done, there's a lot of potential.
Always wanted this game ever since I found out I was getting a ps2 back in 2002. Mom almost bought it for me for $20 in 2004, but I wanted something else. In about 2008, I got it for $6 at Gamestop and Man, was I missing out all these years. I really got the feeling that this was the future we always had a small glimpse of in the Terminator movies. That feeling of grit and despair, but having to fight back was very well presented in this game. LOVED IT!!! If you haven't yet...PLAY THIS GAME!!!
One of the things that bugged me (and its not shown here) is the Terminator sent back to 1984 looks nothing like Arnold. I understand if they didnt have the right to use his likeness or whatever, but dont show the T-800 goin back have a goatee. its just kinda insulting. The other is the ending left room for a sequel to be made, and I guess this game didnt do to well, cause nothing ever came to pass. Hate when games do that
@KroniKKidZ28 yeah, unfortunately this game wasn't very well received. it wasn't a great game by any means, but it had some potential. terminator based video games never do so great, i think partly because they fall into the hands of the wrong developers.
@george2p haven't played it? i owned that game some years back. every level was the same, run along a linear path, killing terminators that are about as smart as sandbags, and at the end you find a vehicle that you use to go kill a boss. it was fun, but it was easily one of the most repetitive games i've ever played. the story was a mish-mash of the T3 movie and some other stuff that really wasn't very interesting, and the characters mouths didn't even move when they spoke.
why is it that NOONE has a decent quality walkthrough of this game? its amazing! but the only ones are recorded with an outer camera on a tv screen, thats just awful looking
I have this game it is still one of the better games of its time. Great soundtrack Fear Factory :3 and it was in line with the original movie. One thing to note on time travel just because you change a past doesn't mean that the future you came from stops being real. Really the two times branch off and become their own realities. Which is why there are 4 or 5 worlds within this series.
@xXWraithSoldierXx Well if you look at all the stories and series that branch off from the Terminator name they are really total realities that have their own characters and their own endings. Well and the whole "science" of time travel really, changing events will alter a set current reality but the one you came from in the future is it's own world now. Well and the proof is in the pudding the movies each have their own futures involved. The comics as well and the series also. :P

was arnold swarchenegger in this game? (him as in the terminator that looks like him in the movies) because it's not exactly terminator untill arnold's famous "i'll be back" line is in it! XD
Face it; nothing is going to unify the continuity of all the movies, games, books, comics, and shows. Enjoy the ride, but the canon is fundamentally fractured, so there's no point in arguing.
Skynet is destroyed once and for all. Reese confirms this in T1.
Nothing changed when Reese went back. That is how it was meant to be.
Skynet sent 2 Terminators through time, the first to 1984 the 2nd was a last ditch effort and that was the T-1000. SKYNET is then taken offline after this. Reese is then sent back, and then John gets the other T-800 reprogrammed and sent back. The TDE is then destroyed, the end.
The game ends with Kyle Reese going back to the year 1984 DOES HE NOT?
Which leads to the FIRST FILM released in 1984 called THE TERMINATOR, Watch the damn movie. Kyle Reese specifically states in the movie that he comes from the year 2029.
So that means this horrible game (but better than T3 and Salvation movies) GOT THE DATE WRONG.

I put the DVD on and put the subtitles on when I responded. It clearly says and the last 2 years under John Connor. This is directly right after Lance Henriksen's character comments on Silberman. Watch the DVD again. It's clearly there.
You can clearly hear it. I can and I can see the words with the subtitles.
The defense grid was smashed, they beat SKYNET. Before they did that though SKYNET had already sent the T-800 and T-100 through. Then Resse and the T-800 went back.
@snake2006 I think you mean T-1000 rather than T-100. I would asume that the T-100 would be an early model, prior even to the T-400s but the 1000 would be the one in the second film. By the way, the continutity teams most likely made some mistakes, so there is no point arguing, the only people who care about the cannon of this franchise are the fans. The producers want money rather than to ensure no abiguousness. The game was fun to play, but the camera angles made it difficult at some points.
And yes it does matter with the canon. If canon didn't matter then I would like T3 and salvation. But I don't since they screwed up the story just for money.
This game existed before T3 but still they got the ending wrong, so yes it does matter.
First of all the date is wrong, it's 2029 not 2027. That is a misprint on the VHS box.
2nd SKYNET was destroyed before Reese went through.
3 SKYNET sent 2 Terminators back in time, one after the other. That is fact.

No it didn't. T3 is full of shit and should be ignored, escpecially in this case because Dawn of Fate came out before T3 did and it's based on the real future war. They just got the ending wrong.

Terminator Salvation has left quite many critics and fans dissapointed, it must be the PG13 carry on. This is causing the film's Studio Warner Bros. reconsidering Terminator 5 & 6. People I know Terminator Salvation wasn't perfect, this was a movie we've been dreaming about, after the release of Terminator 3 we were kinda let down, to be honest I found that film stupid but fun, there was word going around "Will They make Terminator 4" they have, its better than a stupid remake of the original.
I know dude, Terminator Salvation wasn't as great as T2, alot of it felt like one big video game, remeber the scene where he jumps off the plane in the middle of the ocean & swims down to the submarine, it didn't make sense, can I ask you, should Terminator 5 & Terminator 6 be made?

I've been a HUGE fan of Predator ever since I bought my first comic. I hated AVP1 and 2, and wasnt TOO impressed with Predator 2. As long as this new one keeps within the boundries of the Yautja's and doesnt bring in Aliens, then I'll watch it. Otherwise, I'll pass this. How about you?
I'm personally weary and unsure of this movie, it was announced to be a Remake Reboot, I HATE REMAKES, they're stupid and pointless, eg Michael Bay's Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 Rob Zombie's Halloween Friday the 13th, alothough John Carpenters The Thing & David Conemberg's The Fly were great, Batman Begins & Dark Knight were terrific reinvisionings, now Predators is a Sequel Rebbot, kinda like Superman Returns.
Well, lets hope it will reboot the franchise WELL. Unlike other reboots I can think off. There have been some brilliant re-visionings/re-makes made, lets prayer this will fall under that category.
I know man, the trouble with sequels is that we allready know what the threat is, and when they don't show it "Trying to use an element of suspence" it's not scary just boring, your waiting to see the creature in action. This movie Predators is said to have great script and it's very very violent. We follow a team of commandos who must face a mysterious race of vicious monsters. Thats right, multiple Predators not just one. Hopefully this movie will bring back glory to Predator.
The fact that the film Predators is being made by Robert Rodriguez is another deal, he's made Dusk Til Dawn, Spy kids 1,2 & 3 & Planet Terror, Don't get me wrong I like his film but there a bit too slapstick to be taken seriously, the script he wrote is now 10 years old, they chose not to make it cause they felt it would be too expensive, now Alex Litvak has given a rewright they're moving along, I hope turns out well.
Predators will be it's own movie, no AVP crap, although Alien & Aliens are great mixing with Predator never turns out well, Alien is working own another film, the Original Director Ridley Scott & his brother Tony & Producer Michael XCostigan are working with Commerical Director Carl Rinsch on an ALIEN PREQUEL, A BACK STORY TO ALIEN, What do you make of this?...

This game is awesome, the storyline leads directly into the beginning of the first Terminator movie. I hope Terminator 4,5,and 6 storylines will involve the Stone Brothers as well as Luna and Perry as main characters. The synopsis of T4 mentioned there would be a traitor. hmmm.. Alex Stone perhaps? The other main characters would have to be Reese, Connor, and Katherine Brewster.

Yeah when Silberman askes Kyle who was was fighting for and kyle replies "With the One Thirty Second under Perry, from 21 to 27" and in Dawn of fate he was assigned to recon security directly under john conner, perry was with them but wasn't kyle's commander since his re-assignment And yeah the new terminator movie should have perry in it as a homage to the first movie but it's going to take place some time before dawn of fate and the terminator, to tie it in with the rest

this game really helped understand what reese was talking about in terminator 1. i cant wait for the new trilogy to come out that will explain the future and what has happened there alot more.

Stone and his brother sabotaged Skynet's recon so that it didn't know how many of Connor's men were attacking its base. Connor ended up destroying Skynet's main base, but he lost most of his men in the battle, which means a lot since his men arn't expendable.
Therefor, with Skynet's main base in ruins, and Connor's main forces mainly destroyed, he crippled both of them.

In one of the comic series, there was this other computer-based corporation with Skynet and it planned to destroy Skynet. I always thought Alex and Gabe were working for that corporation. But we'll never know because the game didn't get good enough sales..-sigh-

Which leads to the FIRST FILM released in 1984 called THE TERMINATOR, Watch the damn movie. Kyle Reese specifically states in the movie that he comes from the year 2029.
So that means this horrible game (but better than T3 and Salvation movies) GOT THE DATE WRONG.
So you have failed at life now twice. No stop breeding so the rest of the world doesn't have to deal with your offsprings stupidity in the future.

I put the DVD on and put the subtitles on when I responded. It clearly says and the last 2 years under John Connor. This is directly right after Lance Henriksen's character comments on Silberman. Watch the DVD again. It's clearly there.
You can clearly hear it. I can and I can see the words with the subtitles.
The defense grid was smashed, they beat SKYNET. Before they did that though SKYNET had already sent the T-800 and T-100 through. Then Resse and the T-800 went back.

@snake2006 I think you mean T-1000 rather than T-100. I would asume that the T-100 would be an early model, prior even to the T-400s but the 1000 would be the one in the second film. By the way, the continutity teams most likely made some mistakes, so there is no point arguing, the only people who care about the cannon of this franchise are the fans. The producers want money rather than to ensure no abiguousness. The game was fun to play, but the camera angles made it difficult at some points.

And yes it does matter with the canon. If canon didn't matter then I would like T3 and salvation. But I don't since they screwed up the story just for money.
This game existed before T3 but still they got the ending wrong, so yes it does matter.
First of all the date is wrong, it's 2029 not 2027. That is a misprint on the VHS box.
2nd SKYNET was destroyed before Reese went through.
3 SKYNET sent 2 Terminators back in time, one after the other. That is fact.

Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. People are just too uptight about screw-ups and they all have to have everything all perfect. Pssh, I just consider T3, Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles and T: Salvation in their own timelines where blowing up Cyberdyne didn't even matter. Too bad other people can't see it that way.

Terminator Salvation should have looked like this the story was way wrong in The TV show Sarah Connor it did not follow this game or the movies I wish T4 had the same charactors as this game had instead of adding whole new ones & The show says Kyle reese had a brother but this game came out before The show so TSCC is wrong I also was confused when it came to the show. where are the stone brothers from this game in Terminator Salvation.

Ending is wrong.
1) SKYNET is taken offline completely when Reese went through. This is proven by Reese's statements in T1 during his interrogation. THEY WON THE WAR.
2) The T-1000 went after the first T-800, then Reese then the final T-800.

Terminator Salvation has left quite many critics and fans dissapointed, it must be the PG13 carry on. This is causing the film's Studio Warner Bros. reconsidering Terminator 5 & 6. People I know Terminator Salvation wasn't perfect, this was a movie we've been dreaming about, after the release of Terminator 3 we were kinda let down, to be honest I found that film stupid but fun, there was word going around "Will They make Terminator 4" they have, its better than a stupid remake of the original.

I've been a HUGE fan of Predator ever since I bought my first comic. I hated AVP1 and 2, and wasnt TOO impressed with Predator 2. As long as this new one keeps within the boundries of the Yautja's and doesnt bring in Aliens, then I'll watch it. Otherwise, I'll pass this. How about you?

I'm personally weary and unsure of this movie, it was announced to be a Remake Reboot, I HATE REMAKES, they're stupid and pointless, eg Michael Bay's Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 Rob Zombie's Halloween Friday the 13th, alothough John Carpenters The Thing & David Conemberg's The Fly were great, Batman Begins & Dark Knight were terrific reinvisionings, now Predators is a Sequel Rebbot, kinda like Superman Returns.

I know man, the trouble with sequels is that we allready know what the threat is, and when they don't show it "Trying to use an element of suspence" it's not scary just boring, your waiting to see the creature in action. This movie Predators is said to have great script and it's very very violent. We follow a team of commandos who must face a mysterious race of vicious monsters. Thats right, multiple Predators not just one. Hopefully this movie will bring back glory to Predator.

The fact that the film Predators is being made by Robert Rodriguez is another deal, he's made Dusk Til Dawn, Spy kids 1,2 & 3 & Planet Terror, Don't get me wrong I like his film but there a bit too slapstick to be taken seriously, the script he wrote is now 10 years old, they chose not to make it cause they felt it would be too expensive, now Alex Litvak has given a rewright they're moving along, I hope turns out well.

This game is awesome, the storyline leads directly into the beginning of the first Terminator movie. I hope Terminator 4,5,and 6 storylines will involve the Stone Brothers as well as Luna and Perry as main characters. The synopsis of T4 mentioned there would be a traitor. hmmm.. Alex Stone perhaps? The other main characters would have to be Reese, Connor, and Katherine Brewster.

Yeah when Silberman askes Kyle who was was fighting for and kyle replies "With the One Thirty Second under Perry, from 21 to 27" and in Dawn of fate he was assigned to recon security directly under john conner, perry was with them but wasn't kyle's commander since his re-assignment And yeah the new terminator movie should have perry in it as a homage to the first movie but it's going to take place some time before dawn of fate and the terminator, to tie it in with the rest

That was his brother.
This is how they crippled both sides:
Stone and his brother sabotaged Skynet's recon so that it didn't know how many of Connor's men were attacking its base. Connor ended up destroying Skynet's main base, but he lost most of his men in the battle, which means a lot since his men arn't expendable.
Therefor, with Skynet's main base in ruins, and Connor's main forces mainly destroyed, he crippled both of them.

In one of the comic series, there was this other computer-based corporation with Skynet and it planned to destroy Skynet. I always thought Alex and Gabe were working for that corporation. But we'll never know because the game didn't get good enough sales..-sigh-
