  • Why did Ric leave WWF in 93 to go back to WCW??

  • @captaint1000 Long story short, Flair and WCW had a pretty bad fall out in 1991 and they basically told Flair that WWF would never hire him, and even if they did, they would make him look like a fool, just like they did with Dusty Rhodes a few years earlier. Not only did Vince hire Flair and book him as a major heel, but he put the world title on him, twice. Fast forward to 1993. WCW is in trouble and needed Flair back way more than Flair ever needed them So, they brought him back.

  • @MyNephewIsTough Didn't Vince try all he could to keep him from jumping ship?

  • @captaint1000 Yes. He didn't want to lose him. WWF's ratings were high during the time that Flair was there. Ted Turner must have really sweetened the deal for Flair to go back. to WCW.

  • Actually, 1993 was a good year for Flair. He had a very memorable and great feud with Ric Rude. And he won the World title(called international) from Windham in July and then beat Vader(for the World title) in a very emotional and dramatic match at Starrcade in Charlotte(his home town). The screwing began when Hogan arrived in mid 1994. Ironically, again it was Flair who helped convince Hogan to join WCW. Flair probably helped the company succeed more than anyone and look what happened.

  • Yeah, this is before Bischoff turned into a jerk and tried ruin lives(Flair's included). Ironically, it was Flair who helped him get his job!

  • Bischoff destroyed the once great WCW/NWA.

  • 0:59 "and least but not last, I wore it"

  • BIschoff always reminded me of Rob lowe in waynes world during this time same hair style

  • oh, this is in 1993? did he just get back from the wwf? HOW DID U GET THIS FOOTAGE??? LOL

  • Yeah.... Mr. WCW/TNA Ric Flair got continually shamed when he returned. Losing basically every match against Hogan, nWo disrepsecing the 4 horsemen without the company telling Flair and his boys said promo was being shot, and coming in and out of retirement. If anything you would of expected them to embarrass Hogan being apart of a rival company for so long..

  • Ken Doll

  • Man to see Eric so young in this...he looks like a cool calm collected villain you would see in an action movie.

  • wow it took me a minute to realize that was Bischoff.

  • they could have at least ironed the table cloth. Ric obviously had low dining standards at this time.

  • Haha! It's so funny to hear Ric Flair acting so calm and rational talking about Barry Windham but just below the surface he's being his usual self. You know he hates Barry!

  • why does he hate barry

  • @joshoct1984 Ric hated guys like Barry whom the fans loved! That's why he hated Dusty Rhodes too.

  • @joshoct1984 Two guys, that westle professionaly for a living, set up ways to make people want to watch them wrestle each other on TV, an arena near you, or on a PPV. This is one of these scenario's, in actuality Ric, Dusty, and the Windham's are close friends. Don't listen to that pedophile wolfsblood, he's 41 years old and doesn't know that wrestling is just an entertainment show. He does like to watch video of girls of questionable legal age parade around some pervs house nearly naked though.

  • OmG Bischoff is SOO hot here! I mean, he still is but...DAMN!

  • eric is in tna now

  • It's funny how people can call Eric a "tool" through Computer text and a youtube video, but I bet don't and WON'T have the audacity to say it in his face. Two words.....MARTIAL ARTS! This man majors in that style of fighting. And the three people who said it, is not even respecting him. I bet they're Cena Marks.

  • @tonshaad1230 So, I have trained in martial arts most my life, Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.Theres no way I would fight one of these wrestlers unless I absolutely had to.They are so used to taking physical pain it would be really hard to hurt them before they hurt you.

  • @tonshaad1230, I know many that could care less about Bischoff being skilled in the Martial Arts. This guy is a scumbag that tried to ruin lives and help put a once prosperous company out of business. I know many that would have no problem getting up in his face and telling him exactly what they think of him. Some spitting might be involved too.

  • @MetalheadJay78

Try to ruin lives? Yeah cause Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, older NWA superstars/legends in the WCW were known to being NON-political in wrestling ~_~. WCW wasn't prosperous so don't make up that lie. It only got good again during the '96 era. And the people who would spit in his face would be just as disgusting and low as they assume Eric to be.

  • @tonshaad1230, I never said that Bischoff didn't make the company extremely successful at one point. From '96 to '98, it was the #1 wrestling company. But greed went to Bischoff's head and he became very selfish. He tried to separate people in order to create drama and turmoil. What he did to Flair was absolutely disgraceful! He tried to utterly embarrass a man who had put the company on his back on many occasions. WCW probably wouldn't have existed in the 90's without Flair's contribution.

  • @tonshaad1230 I hate Cena....as a matter of fact I have hated pro wrestling since the moronic so called attitude era that taught 8 year old kids how to flip off people and learn what poon tang pie is and let's not forget the 8 year olds doing the crotch chop .I have karate trophies taller than Eric and will money back guarantee I could make him scream like a little bitch...no problem.

  • JINGLE JANGLE, NOW THEN , NOW THEN

  • haha, Ric'll Fix it!

  • Two of the best friends ever.

  • hey moron they never got along they just

    recently reconciled!

  • Obviously you can't tell the difference of when a person is being sarcastic.

  • funny to see this when Biscoff was just an announcer, before he became a big part of the show, before Flair ended up hating Biscoff's guts!

  • i remember this like it was yesterday. this was just a couple months after i started taping wrestling on a every show basis most of those tapes are shot to hell now cus i played them so much. plus taping them extra long play mode didnt help the quality any lol but i was a kid then and didnt know anything about vcrs we just got it.

  • what are vcrs

  • video cassette recorders lol

  • Flair the greatest ever! I'd like to see when Flair returned at Superbrawl. When he awarded Barry the title.

  • Bischoff looks like such a tool here.

  • Here? Bischoff alwasy sounds like a tool.

  • Fair point.
