@aldi4u Umm.. You do know Thai 1000 yrs ago Thai people came from Malaysia, Cambodia, Burma and China right? But I'm 100% Thai and I can't careless about which countries I came from 1000 years ago! I'm just Thai now! ^_^
to those who hated Malaysia.. u must remember long time ago Malaysia, Singapore, thai and Indonesia long time ago was one country but separate due the power struggle to control the region. that why there a lot kind of culture in malaysia.
like my family who my father side was chinese from singapore, my grandpa was jawa from Indonesia, My mother family came from Thai who was once descendent's of Pattani Royal family. and my grandma was the adopted daughter of malay sultan.
@aldi4u Well I think Malay and Indonesian are from the same root due to their close proximity.... So you can't say who steal who unless you have an evidence.

If you look at the Serajah Melayu or the fact that both speak the same language, linguistically speaking. I don't know, but if I'm not mistaken the seperation between the two occured due to colonization by the dutch and british, the East India Company. And later on the "Pantherstaaten" added their share.
@aldi4u not only indonesia ...malaysia also claimed singapore chilli crab and other singapore dishes as malaysian traditional food...singaporean also "DISLIKE" malaysian behavior!!
I have to change this, in fact Laos and Cambodia was influenced the culture, language and etc by Thai. If you ever studied or read the history, you will know that once Laos and Cambodia ever been the part of Thailand. Thai culture is original!!!
For China, in Thailand have a lot of Chinese migrants so the cultures were mixed between Thai and Chinese :)

Thailand's cultures are not original as well, it's a blend of everything for the surrounding countries such as: Laos, Cambodia, China...etc
Every culture has some influences from other culture.
