@paulippolito Look at KD's stats this year. He's scored at least 30 ppg each of his first 4 games while shooting at least 50% from the field. Last person to do that was Shaq in 01-02. Plus, he's rebounding better and much better of a playmaker. He's averaging almost 5 assists. And, he's more important to the Thunder's success than Lebron is to the Heat. When you think of the Heat you think of Wade, so that's why I think KD is set for MVP. He also is turning into a young leader.

2)Kevin Durant has yet to bring anything to the defensive end of the table, a major flaw in making him a complete player a la LeBron James.

3)James scores easier and more efficiently without taking as many shots as KD.James=51% KD= 46%

durant shot 46% and averaged 27.7 ppg last year while lebron shot 51% and only averaged 1 less ppg, lebron had more rebounds, a lot more assists, and is a much better defensive player than durant. i like durant more than lebron, but its hard to say that durants gonna beat lebron for mvp, because lebron is better at all aspects of the game except scoring. but i did the math and if lebron took as many shots as durant did pg, he wouldve averaged more points than durant. again, not hating on durant
