@Thisisj3ff dude no offense but "americans will eat this up" is not how i would describe this song. for one i am american, and i'm not feeling it. now i'm not saying he isnt talented, it just sounds like some country/blues song from the 90s or something. the chord progressions are very simple but it could work. its just the vocals are legato(long and drawn out) and he has such a deep chest voice. but as he gets more comfortable he should try to increase his range and sing higher.

This band may be a bunch of nobodys, but that does little to my overall score for this song. The lyrics are quite sad, doing justice to the song's title, and the simple melody accentuates this beaitifully. I give this 8/10, and the band themselves 6/10.
