You know, I'm sure the director, or producer, or writer looked at this scene and thought "An actual scene that's almost from the book? Now how did that get in here? Get that out of the movie!!"
why? why did they delete all the important scenes.... this one can make the movie more interesting even the scene when Annabeth was sleeping on Percy's shoulder while he was driving and him and grover talks about thalia's life

man why are so many people comparing the movie to the book so much? Its not that big of a deal, they stayed true to the book in most aspects, but they couldn't make it follow the book 100%
@VampyLuLu They couldn't make it follow 100%, but it barely followed 5%. The book was much better. Also, it's the same director as the Harry Potter movies, and those were completely accurate.

"Like" or "Thumbs Up" on this comment if you've noticed that pretty much all the scenes they've deleted should've been in the movie, or would've made the movie a tad more like the book. This is one of those scenes. They even deleted the scene where Grover talks about Thalia, which wont be good seeing as the Sea of Monsters comes out next. I wonder what they'll do to fit her in.
@lylotss One of the deleted scenes is when they are heading to the Parthenon after the Maid who works at the motel saw him holding Medusa's head. Then in the car Grover was all like "You have no idea what I've been through, three years back, Zeus had a daughter, her name was Thalia, she ran away, and Chiron ordered me to escort her back. Hades found out, and he sent out his nastiest monsters. We fought hard, but Thalia didnt make it." He didnt mention the tree though. I think someone uploaded it

Aw, why did they have to cut this scene? This scene would have been perfect in the movie. I love it better when Percy sees Grover and also sees Annabeth and he finally meets her. I wish they wouldn't have cut this scene. Pretty cool scene though.
Technically, Nectar is the drink of the gods! And I am starting to get mad cause the movie wasnt to much like the book and they deleted the scenes that would make it more like the book! In a deleted scene they talked about Thalia, in this scene Annabeth was with him in the nursery and UGH!

Grover photographs Aphrodite
Grover talks about Zeus's Daughter
Percy, Annabeth & Grover fight the Guards
Grover dances
Hades talks to Percy
