  • I just bought this cold air intake kit and when dyno the stock hp on the Nismo was 280hp. After the instal the dyno showed 246hp ?.

  • whats the red thing?

  • Numbers read low with the mods Curtis.

  • To compare I did some dynojet runs at a local shops dyno day and I made 29X.XX with nothing but test pipes and some carbon fiber panels. Either way its more important to use the dyno to gauges your increases rather than the actual #. Different dynos will always give you different #'s.

  • Here is the link to the forum thread of Z Car Garage Dyno Day. The thread can be found on my350z, then do a search under Z Car Garage Dyno Day.

  • I am no expert with dynos so I will leave it at that. What was interesting is that both cars were in the same range, not off by much and they were sporting the same mods.

  • Well the numbers speak for themselves and all the people that recently showed up to Z Car Garage on 4/10/10 for Dyno Day to have their cars dynod. If they had thought the dyno was running a little low, then there would have been a lot of fuss going on. Check video time at frame 0.53 into the video. There were two fans were used.

  • You guys definitely have a low reading dynojet.

  • @NYBladeZ34 That is what I am wondering. A guy in my car club has a 370z and stock dyno was 276whp. After cai and exhaust he was 303.
