the acoustics in an outdoor setting are nonexistant, thats why. anyone can perform there and still sound worse than usual. there are great things about both this and the OBC, in my opinion.

I think I'm going to cry. They don't have the fire that I love from the obc. Is it wrong to say I really hate them just because I miss the original cast too much?

i saw this cast perform and though they are no where near as amazing as the obc, everyone except the new georg and thea are quite acceptable.i love hunters take on the role, very reminicant of groff and a vast improvment on riabko. i will miss lilli but the new one is fine. socha is fantastic, emma is great gerard steals the show and daniels and doyle are still great( oh and new pheobe is good too)

Performing onstage in the outdoors with obviously poor sound mixing makes it difficult to get the full effect. I'm sure the show in the theatre puts this to shame.

Meanwhile, the touring cast if phenomenal.

Ugh. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm the biggest fan of this show. This cast just doesn't do it for me. I understand it would be really hard to replicate what they managed to create in the OBC, but there is such a lack of "togetherness" with this group. Thanks for posting though :)

This performance can't even compare to how this cast is on stage. I just saw the show yesterday, and believe me, they are brilliant.

when the camera pans all the way over to the side with alexandra socha and the two new girls it sounds REALLLLLLLY offkey. idk who it is...but wow.

the video is not great compared to the real thing, but its probably the fact that they are outdoors too..

i just saw this cast perform last week. they're nothing compared to the obc. but hunter is absolutely incredible.

I agree, they sound bad. It must have been an off day for them; In the harmonies someone sounds sick.

yeah they were pitchy in every song that they sang. however, microphones are the ENEMY b/c they can distort the sound coming out of a singer's mouth.
