Thing is: if they play on a difficult table, they a have to play much more safes and kick. That's where snooker players are really going to be embarassed. Pool tables don't play like snooker's. Balls and cloth react differently. Maybe are the snooker players better putters, but if they haven't played much pool, they're going to finish second in any long race on the pool table.
snooker is a harder game but i play both sports and belive it they are two tatally diffrent games and thats why when snooker players swap they never win anything in their first couple of tourments and when pool players move over they take time to adapt to the size diff
i used to play pool, beautiful game then switched to snooker and found out that i need a lot of improvement to play it. After scoring 50 pts consistly, i tried pool again and cleared the table like 3 times in row, it bacame so easy, i thing all snooker players are able to beat any pool plrs but poll plrs would be lost in snooker and this is a fact

If you play snooker then you would know how much easier it is to play positional shots on a pool table than on a fullsize snooker table.
do both and it will make you an awesome pool player!!!!
