Very nice soloing on that standard ! pretty hard harmony to solo on but you did it excellent ! Check out my videos if u got any time, i'll be honored :)
Very nice improvising skills, man. I'm practicing the original Coltrane-line at the moment... pretty smooth on guitar. Do you know all these scales by heart or do you just get along that way with your knowledge of the intervals between the strings and their connection?
Geez!!!!! I'm trying so bad to get this song but I just can't!!! At least not yet... But u kick it good pal!! The guitar sounds beautiful, I would like to know how you recorded the video! Cheers mate!
Like the way you experiment with those 6ths. Like to shade with you some day. Do you write out multiple variations of riffs through those chord progressions first or just shoot from the hip? Man Giant steps chord changes ain't no joke. LOL
Dude this is sweet, I've always wanted to learn this on the guitar, this is inspiration for me! Now if only I could play this on the guitar while skateboarding in an empty pool, wouldn't that be something?
@flaminpanda3 Hey, my guitar is an Ibanez model AF106....I can get thru the Giantsteps changes because I have a very simple and basic but true understanding for how the notes are arranged on the guitar, and how to simply get from one place to another....Thanks for the compliment....I like the way that you play as well...
Eric it's a done deal. I had my birthday night professionally taped and Bob Ingalls is working on that now. I'll have something up within the next couple of weeks. Thanks.
Eric, NICE! It's nice to hear Giant Steps when a musician really plays the changes. Keep up the good work. you know I always enjoy your melloe style of playing guitar and I really hate you aren't doing the St. Regis thing anymore. You did a really nice set that people could chill out on. Luv Ya.!!

Bravo! Superb interpretation- you've taken Wes, Benson, Burrell and Coltrane and synthesized your own style which is great- keep it up!
