this is a terrible info half the video was talking get to the point dont drag it on tell people about cheap food instead of talking about tough times u wasted 30 seconds when u could of used that to explain more like perogies 8 perogies will fill a person up theres like 30 in a bag thats over 3 meals for the price. filled with potatos too. You could also buy rice and macaroni buy some tamatos and use that for it or better yet spend 50 bucks on all the shit u need to make chili
$.89 X 10 is only $8.90 a pound for 10 lbs. of potatoes. Boy, that is really frugal...... I just love it when they try to package "typical mom" with her cute little society approved haircut and working mom approved red shirt as a voice of honesty and integrity for the masses.
I live alone but rarely ever eat out except sushi, I only buy foods on sale especially meats and freeze them, also make sauces in pint size containers as well as soup broth (add the pasta rice or vegys when ready to consume) same with stew but you can add the meat and freeze. You can defrost in microwave or pull out the night before. I do the same with Crusty Italian bread which I cut it frozen as needed, only takes a few minutes to defrost on counter or heat up.
Cheap? Grow your own FFS.
