Hey guys, tons of comments on this video since the big 32 yard miss last week! It sure was a shocker for me to see as well. We all feel bad for Billy and the Ravens and wish them the best in their careers. Even though that 32 yarder SHOULD be almost automatic in the NFL, you gotta realize even pros mess up and miss short ones from time to time. It is very unfortunate!

Anyways, Harbaugh should have called a timeout when he seen that Cundiff was late to the line and had to hurry up his kick... Without proper routine and timing, it screws up the holder and the kicker.

Our hearts go out to Billy Cundiff in the Baltimore Raven's loss in their AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots. Being an NFL Kicker is a great job when you win the game but can be awful on days like today. Keep your head up Billy!

can someone help me ......I have a problem getting height on the ball when i kick....so i have to use a block every time i kick field goals and i wanna progress to just kicking off the ground. My kickoffs are fine just a need more power....my main concern is using the block...how can i kick good without useing it. it seems every timei do.. i kick line drives and hit the linemen in the back of the head... I NEED HELP PLEASE

@BassAssassin86 Using a 2" field goal block in High School is perfectly normal. The only time people kick without a block for field goals is in college and the NFL. I'd recommend staying with the 2" block (not a 1" block) through at least your sophomore year of high school before considering going down to a 1" block. Some people should stay with 2" through HS entirely. You can adjust your plant foot more forward or adjust your leg swing sometimes to help get more lift/height.
