Thanks for posting. I agree with the majority of what is taught here and in pt 2. This is one of the better website or youtube videos I've come across on the Essenes. I believe though that John the baptist and Christ were part of the Essene community - though not neccessarily at Qumran. And they certainly did not live in the same Essene community. I say this because Jesus makes obvious reference to scripture that is not found in the bible but is found in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
