Decent cover. I like the hard rock edge to it, but they shouldn't have tried to hit the high notes. It's much grimmer the way Depeche did it; all low voices.

Nothing I love more than FANBOYS that bash another fan for his interpretation of a song he loves. This band is not claiming to be Depeche Mode... they evidently enjoy the band and are paying their tribute in their own style. Yes, in my opinion, it is very hard to one up Depeche Mode... a somewhat unique and absolutely amazing band. I also love it when others change it around a bit and I get a new angle. Sure everyone is entitled to their opinion but I highly doubt that this is shit or garbage by

any stretch of the imagination. If you make curt comments such as the many below, it shows how one dimensional you are. If you have no opinion on the type of music they play, or you do not like the style, then state "not a fan of the style". If you truly know something about music, then offer some constructive criticism. Anyhow, the band shouldn't listen to any of the negative comments here because, although I am not a fan of the style, I appreciate the song and it is a good interpretation.

My only constructive criticism would be that the 7-note main "jingle" of the song should be emphasized more. I heard it mixed in with the chords, but that is what really makes the song. Oh yeah, and we could all use a little bit more cowbell ;)
