I would loved to have seen this video taped closer to the organ so we could see the organist's hands and feet. It is played well but the thrill of "seeing" it played is lost due to the location of the camera and the unfortunate location of the page turner. Next time please stand on the opposite side of the organ from the camera.
Tell your page-turner to take a hike. A wonderful rendition of the Toccata; very spirited. I love organists with long hair (!). The sound and video lose sync somewhere along the way, but the music is grand. . .
This piece needs a 16ft reed in the pedal and needs to build in volume towards the end where there are all those argpegiated neopolitan chords. Just my personal taste.
carol9821....organist that play in their socks are not very sightly are they...proper organists tend to wear organist shoes and i find that with these i can still find my way around the pedalboard. Playing in your socks will not make any difference...however your experience will
If she plays without shoes she could feel the pedals and not have to look down at her feet all the time. Also she would make less mistakes!!!! Try it, you'll like it!!
i tried playing without shoes once and it felt really wierd. i think i made more mistakes without than i made with! i'm still looking for decent organ shoes since the pair i use are ok but the soles grip against the pedals quite badly. anyone have any suggestions?
Please, camera more close (the chairs on the left and the bottle on the right aren't important) and more left. Put the console assistant on the other side.
maybe try to translate it in french? you say you want to say something, no? and what is perfectly placed? i'm sorry but i'm really really bad in italian
waw thanks! it's the great organ in geneva conservatory made by the factory "chezard saint martin" in switerland. if you're interrested i'll search the composition. you can see the instrument on my others videos
Inspiring performance. :)

Played at cyperspeed, much drive, two dramatic Neapolitan-chords, hardly any mistakes, a real rollercoaster with a kick.
"Perceived time" : two minutes - played time: 8'36''.
Thrilling and fascinating playing - thank you for posting!

ooh i agree, i always like a gradual cresendo towards the end of this piece, although i dont use the 16ft reed it could sounds quite nice actually!

it would be nice if this video featured the organist and her skill rather than the page turner and her ass
