Your voice is fantastic, but you don't have any soul in your sound. You sound like todays Pop singers. Maybe try studying some jazz and blues singers, Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles included, Diana Ross...etc What really separated these singers from the rest was their ability to take a melody and really transform it into something unpredictable and original even though they were singing standard tunes. Louis Armstrong is another good one to listen to. Good luck! I wish you well.

If you've ever read many of the comments in lament of what now is to pass for music since the day the music actually died, just 1 of the reasons for modern stuff sounding so much of a piece has to do with attempting to add meaning and originality through use of an affected style with over much nuance and just plain c-r-r-r-a-a-p overdone embellishments.

She has a richly lilted vibrato coming on strong at the ends of phrases and so on
