It wasnt an illegal kick, it was just a lucky kick. Cook is good but watching the rest of the fight its obvious he wasnt on Steven's level. That being said sometimes lucky kicks decide the match Aaron won that day be it lucky kick or whatever so just let him enjoy that. Theres a world championship every year we'll more than likely get to see them fight again.

Steven Lopez was trying to be a good dipolomat for the international sports. The kick was definitely illedgal. There is a clear violation of the positioning with grab by Aaron Cook. The second half of the kick was not in motion when he fell to the floor. The kick is illegal when there is no chance of the maneuver to land back in fighting position. Can you imaging if everyone going after suicidal kick in every tournament?
@RookieRH1 There is no such thing as an illegal kick to the head. Cook could have been warned or the 3 points deducted, but that would have happened only had Lopez not been KO'd. If you get KO'd by a kick to the head, it's fair, deal with it.
I don't think the kick colud be considered illegal in any way. A falling is ilegal if you are refusing the combat or just to waste time, I think that kick is product of Cook's hability and combat intelligence

You can KO an opponent this way? Then you should get a FULL point deduction for falling down like this as well.
WTF Rulesets just suck. Steven was moving his head away so he wont lose a point - this whole point system currently MAKES NO SENSE in WTF rules.
