  • Nice warm up for Mark Felix

  • four words: what a big nig

  • I cheat curl that easy ;)

  • shit.....I curl that!

  • Bravo men!!!!

  • @mduxburygrip I actually read it in Muscular development In Ronnies foldout , he hid nothing told it all so there would be no point in lying !!! Check it out if you want I commend him on that ,the world should know the facts instead of societies judgmental beating stick beating down these men while its accepted to sell us alcohol and ciggs which kill more then all drugs combined !! How is that legal ? Messed up I 'd say!!!

  • @mduxburygrip Why???

  • Why every time some one does something most cant people go rite to steroids , Ronnie coleman could deadlift 750 natural and I know for a fact there are people born everyday with incredible strength so yes people can and are this strong without steroids and even the ones that use them are already strong as hell roids are enhancers only but they dont do what all you think , that comes from the people and if you dont believe me go take steroids for six yrs strght and see if your like them!

  • No one gets to this level without 'gear'. You've got to be damn naive to think these guys aren't taking steroids, or maybe its just wishful thinking. The days of Babe Ruth types are over. If you want to watch an "all natural" (whatever that even means anymore) strength competition, you will not see guys flipping cars and pulling fighter jets. And what's the big deal with steroids anyway? These guys know the risks. They want to be great at something.

  • are WSM competitors drug tested?

  • 2 people have never been to the gym

  • that's brilliant, my best deadlift is 250kg, thats raw without straps and a belt, i have never used straps but might do to see how much i could get just out of curiousity

  • Looks easy. I'll try that.

...with one tenth of the weight.

    -III-----III-

  • Strong as hell!

  • it's amusing that most of the people who talk shit about lifts are probably unable to do the same lift in lbs than the men in the video do in kilograms.

  • now thats impressive!!

  • He used to come to the same gym as me for a short while.

  • not bad Mark...not bad at all...and he's over 40yrs old...

  • made it look too easy

  • hey Mark, how many Kg can you lift with overhand grip?

  • awesome lift!

  • damn no strap's? what a beast

  • @Nickolasmb you should check out konstantin konstantinov....837 for 4 reps. no straps, no belt, although this dude is still an animal.

  • i would love a chance to be trained by someone with skill, natural power, and technique like you

  • Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

  • @PreachersOfChrist yeah jesus taught me how to deadlift.

  • Comment removed

  • i shook Marks hand at mohegan sun i couldnt see my hand when he shook it...

  • How many people in the world use steroids? How many of them can deadlift 400 kg (880 lbs)? Not that many, huh?

Even when taking steroids into account he's still one of the more strong guys in the world, so I don't get what you're nagging about

  • @Zoidypoo89 hes a worlds strongest men contestant they're not allowed to use steroids!

  • This was an excellant lift and credit to him but bigbruvaluv what planet are you on pal to say he isn't on the gear? You need to get out more! But Felix is a very strong man.

  • if you cant lift that weight. dont f*cking bother talking bout tech.

  • WOW....Mark Felix has alot of hair on his chest.

  • Question for all? What suit dose he have on?

  • @fitzyking1 TITAN

  • what kind of titan?

  • @fitzyking1 i want to say that is RAW. it looks like a regular singlet, as you can see it was not tight at all and his legs werent compressed. doesnt surprise me though, dead suits dont ad much weight at all.

  • lol they add alot mate. and hes wereing shorts over the bottoms of the legs so it's hard to say. looks like a Titan Superior Suit nw that i think about it.

  • what an awesome lift, this guy really is a legend

  • a deadlift 400kg is a world class.

  • it's just crazy, cos this is double what i'm doing for rack pulls.

  • EASY

  • come on mark come on

  • this guy has a titanss gripp fucking insane

  • the best grip i have ever seen!

  • beeeaaasssttttt

  • Holy shit, and it looks like he could go for a few reps too.

  • how much more can someone lift with the straps?

  • It really depends.

Straps will only help is the persons deadlift is limited by grip. If you have the back and leg power to lift the weight, but you don't have the forearm strength to hold onto that amount of weight.

I'm not surprised he doesn't need straps, when I met Mark last year, shaking his hand made me feel like a child holding a parents hand (and I'm not exactly small, 6ft 4, ~250lbs, weight training pretty heavily for the past 3-4 years). The man has massive hands, bloody bear!

  • Another thing about felix is that he does grip training. Not many modern strongman do because they think they work their grip enough with regular exercises. I dont think felix will ever need straps.

  • That's true, and in addition, his grip is, recursively and conversely, extra strong because he doesn't need straps.

A lot of people use straps for all their heavy lifting and thus their forearms are robbed of valueble maximum effort training.

  • allthough the size of ones hand doesnt necessarily mean hes STRONG..

but yea mark felix has crazy strong grip, he has clearly done some grip training

  • 881 lbs. dam thats alot

  • i cant belive he did it that easily and without straps thats just illisoiunal!

  • Best deadlifter around.PERIOD.

  • best strongman deadlifter

  • Benni and Bolton, yes. Mariusz and Arild - I would have to see a contest b/c Felix is a great DL'er.

  • @jlallemand you are forgetting konstantinovs and koklyaev.those two men are even stronger raw than felix.

  • looked easy!!!

  • mark in believe is one of the greatest deadlifter !!!

  • IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!!!

  • no straps thats impressive

  • he has an awesome form, doesn't he?

  • Mark Felix is an excellent deadlifter.

  • Doesn't he weigh as much as that bar?

  • Unless he weighs 850 pounds, no.

  • Wow! Great lift! Looked easy too. Are you competing in the IPF?

  • Felix is awesome, he took up strongman at a later age, hes on mi-nute amount of gear, and hes still one of the best strongmen in england. Definately the most gifted strongman! I know first hand this guy uses 1/10th the amount of gear compared to the others

  • how??

  • my cousin competes against in him britain strongest man, im not going to mention any names. But he came top 5 this year at BSM. Felix does not take anywhere near as much gear as the rest of them, he hasnt even hit his potential yet.

  • when you say gear, are you talkin bout steroids ??

  • yes

  • Maybe he takes more gear but doesn´t tell?

  • well he was deadlifting 300kg+ plus before he even took up strongman. He's only been doing strongman since his mid 30s, hes hitting his peak at 43. Someone whose taken lots of gear for years usually decline after 10 years of usage...

  • I have his video on my profile, he did not do 460, those lifts were exaggerated. It was around 400 if not less. He's strong, but fact of the matter is we will never know whos the strongest man, I bet theres some peasent farmers in Iran and Russia lifting 500kg trucks of hay lol

  • That is fucking impressive, especially from the floor aswell.

  • Boys and girls, now thats a deadlift!

  • good job!

  • While I do not believe that there is even one champion powerlifter without steroids in this world, this was a great lift. Classic great form.

People get over the idea that steroids are bad, all your heroes use them and therefore its fair.

  • so true but i dont hate them for it they still put the time in to get there it ant done in a year or two at all with or without steroids

  • Yeah definitely!

What most people dont know is that steroids, when they are used, are used to actually train MORE and HARDER which you cannot do without. You aint getting stronger from that stuff by default. It makes it possible to maximize the effects and shorten the cycles between training sessions so you can deadlift MORE often, squat MORE often and squat HARDER than before.

It is totally legit. And it still takes year to get that strong. With or without roids.

  • that is insane! great job

  • Awesome!

  • COOL DEADLIFT!

  • mark felix is a great deadlifter, actually one of the worlds best.great form too.

  • That was damn fine dead lift with good form to boot no suit wow nice to see.

Definitely a 900 pound plus dead lifter.

Love to see Mark go for the record!

Hes lifted it stopped at the top and said yeah then slowly put it down, damn good. Concentric and Eccentric control.

  • Those of us who watch WSM regularly have seen Mark get better over time. This guy is unbelievably strong.

  • we can comment all we want but we'll never know if anyone is natural or not, but I truly believe Mark Felix is a drug-free athlete, same goes for most strongmmen competitors except Mariusz whom i have doubts with.. but i guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this is mine and i do appreciate your comments.. all the best and stay naturally strong bro!

  • @bigbruvaluv Most elite level athletes use drugs.. it's not as if they're bad for it, everyone uses AAS in high level.

  • @bigbruvaluv you are ignorant open your eyes the only professional level strongman the migt possibly be natural is phil phister

  • @16dmonkey16

Mark Felix is fairly outspoken against steroid use and are you forgetting Brian Shaw? He is fiercely against steroid usage and I wouldn't be surprised to see him win the WSM in the near future.

  • @Derek78787878 that doesnt mean he isnt on steroids and even if he is who gives a shit? have you ever heard of a steroid bust in strongman? they dont give a shit most pros are on them

  • @16dmonkey16

What exactly is your point? I responded to your post where you called out a guy for being "ignorant" while in the same sentence you are suggesting the ONLY natural WSM competitor is Phister. You are forgetting Brian Shaw and, very likely, Mark Felix. Both natural and outspoken against steroid use, Brian Shaw being particularly outspoken and voluntarily tested. And why do you think I give a shit if WSM boys take steroids? I don't. I was calling you out for saying something stupid.

  • @bigbruvaluv there's no doubting it that they do roids, but who fucking cares.

anyone using roids knows that 400kg is not a cakewalk

  • @bigbruvaluv Drugs included what they are doing is amazing. The problem with our society today is that when you even mention steroids they think that you are a cheater and somehow in there mind strip you of all the strength you have because they think a shot or pill gave it to you. I like you once believe that lifting weights like this was possible but then i came to the realization that if you are a professional strongman or pro body builder you are on something.

  • @bigbruvaluv Lol Mariusz has been busted for taking steroids more than once. It's a well known fact the guy isn't natural. As for his peers, they're just as guilty. Don't be naive.

  • @bigbruvaluv there is no such thing as natural strenght, not at these levels

  • @jgadiaz I beg to differ. There are very few out there that are natural beasts..

  • @TungstenLion yes but they pull 300kg, not 400kg

  • @jgadiaz

I have pulled 285kg without any proper training and absolutely no gear, no belt, no straps... I will pull over 300kg this year (God willing) and I am all natural, sir.. I will reach 350kg deadlift in a couple of years. I am only 26 now.

  • @TungstenLion Leave God out of this. I'm tired of people constantly rambling on about God!

  • @TungstenLion what do you weigh?

  • @bigbruvaluv You're obviously not an experienced lifter if you think Mark Felix is natural.

  • @bigbruvaluv that is the dumbest statement I have ever heard...Mark Felix is an amazing strongman but if you do not think he uses steroids to assist him in hias training you are seriously mistaken...first, they do not drug test for these events, second, you don't get as strong as him without hard work, diet, and yes steroids

  • @polin441 they drug test for worlds strongest man which Mark competes in. Thats why Mariuz was stripped of a title. However I'm sure they cycle it correctly to make sure nothing pops up competition time. Ik there are different rules and regs for different organizations. Humans can't get that strong without steroids tho so I'm sure they are all on them

  • @adabass16 Not all PED's (performance enhancing drugs) are tested for either. There isn't just a "steroid" there is a copious list of juice that people can get, that isn't even looked for. They just look for popular shit, anybody can take the sauce and not get caught. Thats why they ALL do. Even in the olympics. Never trust anybody at the top of anything. They didn't get there playing fair, they got there doing anything it takes.

  • it's ridiculous to compare a steroid bound athlete like Ronnie to something who is naturally strong!! there is absolutely no comparison.. take steroid away from Ronnie's diet and he'll be lucky to deadlift 300kg!! Go Zydrunas and Mark GO Natural all the way!! no offence to my bodybuilding heroes Arnold and Lou Ferrigno but there is no contest between Strongman and bodybuilders when it comes to lifting.. all the best people and stay strong!!

  • it amazes me how many people can critique an 880 lb dead, yet very few people can do it. LOL

  • @mickolus54

There shouldn't be anything to critique IMO, that was a perfect lift.

  • Ronnie Coleman lifted 800lbs which is 363kg, Mark is lifting 400Kg and makes it look easy, no shouting or balling, just understated power, Ronnie and Felix as almost the same Age as well, they could be brothers of power, I think there both amazing.

  • Ronnie is a bodybuilder while Felix is a powerlifter, 2 different training styles. The fact that Ronnie can rep 800lb deadlifts as a bodybuilder amazes me....not telling how strong he could of got if he trained for powerlifting.

  • Felix did body building for a time, not power lifting, he is a relative new comer in the World of Strong man, Ronnie has been lifting for more than 20 years.

The biggest difference is Ronnie has much better lifting technique, Felix technique looks novice, as soon as he gets more of his legs into the lift and less of his back, I can see him doing 440kg even 460Kg

Even the great Marius Pudzianowski said Felix has the strongest back in the world, I won't argue with that.

  • Wasn't it Gerit Badenhourst (sp?)AKA the Blumfontaine Bull, The South-African? He held the strongest deadlift some years ago, is he still around in strongman?

  • I sure will though. Felix DOES have a strong back, but to say he has the strongest back in the world is merely exaggerating. Sure you must've heard of Andy Bolton or Konstantin Konstanov (who is capable of lifting the same weight as lifted here, but without belt).

  • How is it an exaggeration? we are talking about a few special group of people with this kind of power day in day out, Konstantin wears a belt, Andy wears a belt, its foolish not to at this level and when they are training, Mark has yet to Peak in the WSM, its amazing how much stronger and better his technique gets ever year, its fair to say he is one of the strongest men in the world with one of the strongest backs to boot.

  • It's an exaggeration, because, saying that he has the strongest back in the world is not the truth. He sure is one of the strongest guys out there, no doubt. And yes, Konstantin usually wears a belt while lifting, but you should check out some of his videos where he doesn't and still lifts tremendous weight.

  • Do you know what exaggeration means? it means to misrepresent something by making it larger, this is clearly not the case, its debatable but if you ask the WSM competitors who know Mark, they would universally agree he has probably the strongest known back in the world, its validated by his peers, thats why its probably true and I agree.

  • great piont

  • Ronnie did that when he was dieting down and had reduced strength..

  • Strong the last deadlift I seen was by Ronnie of 800 lbs

  • way too go mark!keep up the training mate and i look forward to seing you in future strongman events on tv

  • thats insane

  • 08 he better be at the top of the podeum at wsm he is my hero

  • easy. well done.

  • Incredible strength wonder how long it took him to build up the strength for this =). Long hard hours in the gym I would guess hehe

  • fuck!

  • That man is amazing. my number 1 favorite!

  • very powerful
