  • I was saved and baptized in the old little building( 1200 seats ) with 3 am services.Dr Harthern always taught "trust no man, check for yourself if it lines up with God's word",so when he fell I was prepared. I still read his and Pauline's books and listen to their tapes. He is still the greatest bible teacher I have ever heard and my very good friend. I pray for them and their family and see them whenever I am in town. Frank in North Carolina

  • I attended this church and was baptized there. The devil had a hayday with this church. Be sure your sin will find you out and Dr. Harthern was found out to be not so Godly. I do believe he is now walking the walk. Thank God we serve a God of a second chance!

  • Christians are boring. Your music sucks and your personallities are bland. Christians have no true value of spirituality and love feeding a "victim" culture, just so they can have more slaves to pay the bill.

  • We will be praying that you will see the light. Our music goes to praise the one true God. I feel sorry that you have been burned by imposters that say they are Christian and don't actually live the way Christ teaches us. The proof is all around you. He is there just waiting for you to turn back to Him so that He may shower you with blessings. God exists, I see him everyday and you do too. Everytime you are in desperate need and that need is fullfilled. Have a blessed day may your eyes be opened

  • Tom Russell went to join God's Heavenly Choir November 3, 2010. We will miss you, but we will see you again soon. Praise and Glory to Jesus!

  • Pastor Harthern was the best teacher

I EVER heard in any church.

I truly wish he had never left Calvary Assembly :(

  • What wonderful memories of Calvary Assembly in the past. Tom Russell is the singer............spoke like Golmer Pile, but has a pitch perfect voice. Those were wonderful days and I truly miss them. Roy Harthern's ministry is booming - both here and in England. What a blessing he and Pauline truly are! Please continue to pray for these precious saints. Praise God - he has chosen us! Rachael Gagliardi-Miller (Formerly MarySue Grether)

  • Brings back many wonderful memories. Calvary & it's pastors & teachers changed our lives forever during that time. We are especially grateful to Pastor Roy & Pauline for their leadership. Our family has grown to our son & daugher, their wive & husband, and now 7 grandchildren, all of who are benefiting from Calvary.

  • Even with various leadership adjustments over the years, the hand of God continues to move through the many people across this country who were touched by this season of ministry. Man may fail our expectations, but God will NEVER leave us or forsake us. Happy Easter 2007.

  • The church was running 3 services in the morning packed with 1500 people and another duplicate of the morning service that night. Tom Russell brought the Orlando Area "The Life Giver" Musicals in the 80's.

  • This was Calvary Assembly when it was on the rise and about to peak a few short years later. There have been many adjustments since this video was made. The singer is Tom Russell. The Pastor at that time was Dr. Roy Harthern.

  • This is a trip! I know this church, one of the mega churches in orlando, this is their olde building. They used to televise their services. The pastor was Dr. Roy Harther. I believer this singer is Tom Green, he may have been the music leader there for awhile. It was a great church at one time--I think it got too big. Thanks for sharing. ---R. (former prostetant in orlando now Catholic in DC)

  • Wrong names: Tom RUSSELL and Roy HARTHERN
