  • i have a 2000 mustang gt that has C&L Intake Plenum, CAI System, BBK 70mm TB, SLP Cat-Back, Off-Road X/P and a Diablosport tuner and managed just 225whp and 264tq on a mustang dyno, given i have a automatica tranny, does this seem normal ?

    honeslt i have no idea im not really big on american cars an dont know much of the tech specs sorry man but this is a friends car and dont forget mustang dynos are the lowest ratedd out there from what im told

  • @joshuaakakidboost You need a lightweight Driveshaft.... Most subbies, 350z, or any japanese brand cars use carbon or aluminum... i dont know about the new stangs, but this model isn't light. switch to lighter DS and you'll see better numbers.. Don't know why, but Driveshafts are over-looked quite a bit these days.

  • @joshuaakakidboost no way. i use to have a 2002 auto gt with tune h-pipe flowmaster cat back and cold air and dynoed 257 on a mustang dyno. not a fan of the mustang dyno

  • @joshuaakakidboost been around long time and have friends at livernois. i prefer dynojet out of all. bottom line it doesnt matter what them numbers read, its how you do in the 1/4 mile. 13.2 on my auto when i put a pi 3200 stall in it. 13.7 without. both at 102mph. ok for a 4 bolt on auto gt but my mach 1 i had was the fun one and did you drive a new 5.0 yet? i recommend it. 6 speed manual.

  • @joshuaakakidboost this is alittle late, but my 02 gt 5spd with only an o/r x-pipe and flowmasters made 239whp and 271ftlb on a mustang dyno.

  • @joshuaakakidboost get it tuned... if it isn't tuned for the better exhaust flow and all the other stuff it will drop in hp cause the computer doesnt recognize it.

  • you should get some trick flow heads or get your heads ported. the cast iron 2v heads are shit...but you would see an easy 20 more rwhp with your current set up...

  • what is your mods list? i'm trying to get an idea of where i'm gonna be at when i get dynoed , so i don't go in w/ too high of hopes.

  • tell me what you got and ill try to help ya this car not on this pass but on a more recent pass put down 305RWHP and 323 RWTQ with the following

    VT stage one cams, comp cams performance valve springs, act stage 1 clutch, bbk long tube headers, bbk catted h-pipe, slp LM1 catback, K&n short ram intake, 70mm Throttle body, bbk upper plenum, bbk underdrive pulleys, 3.73 gears, and a sct tuner

  • i have pretty much the same everything except the cams. CAI , 75 mm tb , TF upper plenum , hps intake mani , bbk tune length headers , o/r h , glasspacks , 4.10's , sct x3 tuner

  • an alot of supsension and drivetrain , but thats not gonna dyno lol

  • well on this pull with a shitty exhaust system for the first time it was being tuned it put down 283 rwhp and 297 tq but on its most current run wich i wasnt there for so dont have a video but i did see the dyno sheet it put down 305 RWHP and 323 RWTQ
