  • Now i just need 4 dogs and a go-kart.

  • Except the dog can't initiate a stop himself, so if he has an issue and needs to stop gracefully he cannot because the momentum of the weight is far greater than himself.

  • ummm...what if you made a sudden turn???

  • Great Milage!!

  • Whew, I'm glad my other comment got lost, I made a wisecrack about a St. Bernard. 5 Stars, I love dogs and wish I still had my 100# Siberian, he was SO STRONG

he could have pulled my whole family!

  • this would be so easy to make homeade. I have a scooter with a large flat board to stick any pipe or even something cheap like a large would thing. It would not be difficult.

  • great product! not so great song:(

  • This is just great; where would a person buy a scooter like this?

  • where can you but the side attachment?

  • hi i have a scooter but can;t find anywhere to buy the side attachment

  • Does any one know the name of the song or singer on this video? I have a dog powered scooter and I'd love to know what that music is.

  • demis roussos

  • Thank you so much for your reply. I've found a whole list of Demis Rousso music, but I haven't found a title that seems to fit the music. Can you give me the title? Thanks.

  • Hi Ms Breeden,

I just found the title of the song, 'Summer In Her Eyes' and I've ordered the CD. I love your video, I've watched it over and over. Thank you for your help.

  • Hi! glad you like it! have you watched my other scooter video with my chocolate lab, Pinky? she goes really fast!

  • Yes I have seen the other video. I like both of them. I have 3 Siberian Huskies and I just got my scooter assembled. I'm looking forward to using it. I plan to take some music with me, and Summer In My Eyes, just had to be included. Thanks again.

  • I received my CD today with the song I love so much on it. Summer In Her Eyes. I don't know what it is about that song, but it touches a special spot.

BTW, I lived in Odessa TX a long time ago. I think it was about 1965.

Thanks again for the music info, I am enjoying.

  • @msbreeden GREAT IDEA, LOVE THE WAY YOU PROTECT THE DOG. But, have you considered putting something like "rough wear" boots? On hot days, the dog WILL burn it's pads--sooner or later--and they will also "slip" their pads (ouch) again, sooner or later. Dog boots look great, but more important, work great too.

  • You should make and sell this. I really like the idea of it lol. I know my dogs would probably love it too xD an easy way to exercise your dogs without actually moving...sad...but it would sell well lol.

  • cool vid. That thing is really neat. I wonder how it would work in a hilly area?

  • You'd have to do a lot of scootering - the dog shouldn't be pulling hard up hill. we're lucky, we live in a very flat area in Texas!

  • Ok thanks, I live in Pittsburgh so I'm not sure how feasible it is since I weight 255 lbs. I have 2 dogs. One is 90lbs and the other 60lbs. Both Nordic dogs... so who knows, maybe they would do ok.

  • My husband is about the same weight as you. He takes both our labs on the scooter and they do fine. They weight around 65lbs. We have the attachment for taking 2 dogs and that works well too. It's great exercise and they get worn out pretty quickly - 20 mins or so and they're done!
