Beautiful and a long time ago, Spring 1976, Geoff Love as Manuel. 32 years to be exact. But wonderful music from another time, another Century, 20th. This makes me feel old, I was a teenager when it was released. It was no.1 for 3 hours, then was put at 2 or 3 in the chart. I was a student then, 18, today 52. This sounds as good as it did back then in the Fab 1970's.

Someone must have thought that it was more appealing to our generation, how wrong could they have been. A wonderful piece of music that competes with Mr Acka Bilk's "Aria".

The music is Rodrigo's Guitar Concierto de Aranjuez (theme from 2nd movement) by Manuel and His Music of the Mountains, which was a UK no 1 single for about three hours in February 1976.... the chart published contained several mistakes, and the corrected one put the Four Seasons at the top with December 63.

Manuel and The Music of The Mountains (Geoff Love) was a first class orchestra, I really enjoy these arrangements, so smooth and not ear piercing like some.

I have over 25 Manuel albums and they are all wonderful.
