Cupping marks are not bruises and don't hurt but may feel tight and stiff for a day or 2. I like the ones where they run the suction cup up and down the back like a massage. Just don't have this done if you plan on going swimming/sunbathing and will be showing skin. Also I think the heat lamp treatment was infra red not UV.

it only hurts if the nerves are very tense but its worth it after you are done the pain that was there goes away
