This is unpractical and useless to use in an airsoft field. They are using a REAL rifle that strikes the primer with a firing pin. You forget theres a reason they call it "AIR"-soft. airsoft guns can not be made to fire real ammunition and that is where you violate federal law in America and other countries.

They didnt convert the gun!!! It's an original 98k they simply only use primers and 8mm BB's on real Shells. If u add powder I think there will be no plastic BB that can stand the pressure!

It would just be a lot better to modify a gun less than $200 rather than wrecking a $300 gun. Plus newbies will be able to experience real airsoft for cheaper with clones. Without clones, they would have to choose between a $30 walmart lpeg and a $300 AEG, and which would they choose?

it is not destroyed in any way. it is just a normal cartridge without a propellant other than the primer and then a plastic ball instead of a metal bullet. cptmiller21 has another video where he shoots with the same rifle and "real" ammo

@jak9200 He didn't really do much he just modified the rounds to have a bb at the end, he probably didn't need to change the barrel since he used 8mm bbs and K98's are 7.92mm anyway so my guess is it was just a modified cartridge, but I don't know I don't speak German.
