@braun3812 seriously? even pros have mana problems, what if u land 3 or 4 hooks with dismember and you are out, back to base, or u want to stay on lane wait till mana regen and waste precious time for ganks or rely on your teammates to support a ganker rather then a carry... ok as this guide says phasers and BoT can be useful for chasing and maneuverability of this respectful hero but mocking arcane and bottle on pudge is ridiculous, u sir should consider changing the game...

Why get stout shield, spend money on ring of reg and tangoes instead. Pudge need hp reg, not a damn shield. Early game he should be able to gank them with his comboes. I prefer the Playdota.com guides, make much more sense... In addition, scepter should almost be bought mid game, it makes him harder to kill;-)

@Mattlight07 first 65% of units max hp, and then 120% of the then missing hp, if the base resistance of a hero does anything, im guessing the 1,1% of max hp dps aura that necro has will finish them off.

if pudge initiates especially in early game vs huskar he simply wins.Same if husk initiates with ulty.If husk jumps on u, u simply dismember him and proceed with a 360 pure damage nuke (hook) and hes dead.So husk is not that much of a threat.Serious pudge threats include doom bringer with his ulty,naix with his rage and feast,and anti-mage cause with 2-3 seconds he burns half + his mana pool/blinks away from rot/dismember/recieves half magic damage from rot and dismember and of course clock

@Temafrank32 i think that skill build is decent. you really need rot + hook to gank efficiently. the passive is only useful when you're getting nuked down before even doing anything. at level 7(with maxed hook), most paper enemy you grab are probably screwed. pudge is naturally tanky, the passive is just icing on the cake.

@Temafrank32 the video states (and i believe dota 1 has it too) that pudge's passive is "retro-active". this means it keeps track of your kills and scales accordingly. an example would be lets say pudge gets a ton of kills early but didnt skill his passive yet. when he skills it later, the passive will detect his kill-count and provides him the strength for those kills. the str it gives requires a significant amount of kills to be of any use, when you get a lot of kills, this passive will shine
