Definitely doing it right. It is also a matter of timing the outro beats with the intro beats of the song you are bringing in. So you are on point dude!

I know this is going to be a dumb question, but what is the most effective way of mixnig hip hop??? I usually only spin house , but I've been offered a spot on a cruise ship to DJ .. can' t pass that up -- but the only way I'm really 'mixing' now is just by dropping from one track to the next, on beat .. Occasionally I mix one in to another if the intro lends itself to it....

Alot harder to spin hip-hop , so I give all you that do it much respect.
