Rhino is a great bass player who's been great for Quo but I sometimes think that had Jim Lea joined full time when Nuff left Quo could have gone for total world domination.
My apologies - must have had a senior moment. It's not Rhino in this clip! Seem to remember the first single that rhino and jeff played in was 'Rollin Home'. The last video that Lancaster appeared in was The Wanderer I think.
The bassplayer on the Status Quo video is Mr James Whild Lea himself indeed. The story behind this humppa-pumppa performance by Jim is that Status Quo bassist didn't want to play this kind of beatles-bay city rollers-scorpions-"Scheisse"-humppa and Jim replaced him in this TV show.
