This redefined psychedelic rock for me. I so need to watch this when I'm high! Thank you George Baker Innuendo for making me smile like a sick and deranged pedophile.
Memmories. I used to have a purple shirt with the tie string back in the early seventies. That was the fasion then it seems. We never got to hear all their music in the RSA
No, it's a "model 3" Gibson SG Standard. Only "model 1" SG's (1961-1963) had Les Paul markings. In the course of 1963 the name Les Paul disappeared from SG guitars (and SG Specials even never had them). George Baker (Hans) had a 1968 model with the large batwing pickguard.
George The...For me,he is the best guitarist in this band!!!Love him sooo much! His style is just unmistakeable!George The,YOU ARE THE BEST!the way you play your guitar is still a great inspiration for me!LOVE YOU,GEORGE!!!!^^
George Baker[that's not his real name ,btw]wrote World famous numbers like Paloma Blanca. He's one of Dutch greatest ever.Besides the Classic "Little green bag"
I agree with qualqui that this is one of the greatest bands in pop history, and one of the most under-rated as well. Although this early recording rarely displays their awesome talent.
Cool vid of an awesome BAND! Considerin' that only in this year i saw what George Baker and his band look like(had heard them before when i wuz a kid), the difference that an afro and a beard makes is ALOT!

When I first heard this song, it reminded me of Michael Nesmith of the Monkees.

I walk to the sea to find myself a god
If god is not there tell me a place where he can be
Because ive found that all the doors are locked

sweethippy67 3 years ago
Black and White or not... I love this song!
What I liked about "George" and his band is that they stayed together for a lóng time!
Not like other bands who had all of a sudden a new leadsinger or guitarist a.s.o.
The only thing that changed was that a female singer came singing in the Band as well.
Liked that time as well...oh well..I liked all their songs!
