Come on people support Obama's health care plan. If I get sick because I can't afford health care. How many of you want to get sick after being around me?
It's not just that. If someone gets sick and cannot afford their bills, they may default on their home loan causing more problems in the housing industry. They may default on their credit cards causing more problems in the banking industry.
The VERY LEAST we can do as a society is to make sure that the poor do not have to be poor and sick.
The withdrawal of incentive to employers to continue health coverage is scandalous. Thanks for such an intelligent video. Bring us more.
I would add the following. In a truly universal system that will not happen in the US anytime soon, the gov't controls the fees. That is one of the reasons health care costs less per patient in countries with a universal plan compared to the US. The other reason is universal plans are non-profit.
