Very interesting to see the tradition of dotting and how the dances awaken the dragon.

dotting is the awakening ceremony for new dragon costumes. They paint (dot) the eyes, nose, mirror,tongue & horns with Red cinnabar paint mixed with rooster-blood to bring the Dragon to life!

sinagpore izit????I go my father workplace his boss invited us go there for chinese new year celebration i see lion &dragon dance i saw women pay lion dance serious!!!!I go to the sembawang god of wealth templ(chai shen miao)there got women playing lion dance and dragon dance
