Back in these days, I was using recycle to chop my samples, the mpc to sequence, protools for the final mix. In that video I was using traktor for the scratches. Now im on the MPC 1000, I dont use recycle anymore, I chop on the MPC, I sequence on the MPC and I bounce to Protools.
You're damn right ! I stepped my game up since then and bought a Numark TT500 and a Rane TTM54i to get some real scratches. Nice real analog sound, no serato, no final scatch, just pure vinyl. Peace !
Dont worry, all my stuff is copyrighted and protected. I got my masters cd sealed and dated by recognize authorities, if somebody steal my beats and make money out of it, i'll sue is ass up and win! Thanks bro!
ight jus watchin out for ya. anyway how long have u bin usin an mpc/ makin beats i have no experience but it wud be awsome to do an i have a passion for hiphop
Check some producers video on youtube, find a style that fits you, some make beats with mpcs and drum machine, some use keyboards, some use their computer, some use turntables. If you are into sampling start digging for records. Get a program like reason, ableton live, fruityloop if you cant afford hardware, but buy the software you use if you really start making beats.
Hey elprez65 excellent beat my homie! I've been peepin your videos for about a minute now and let me tell you something....you got serious skills homie! Had to give this 5 stars! Keep em coming...take care! peace!
Midi out of the MPC to midi in of your sound card, then go in your setting in traktor, activate the midi input in traktor, then go in your midi setting and you should see something like start cue, map it with the midi learn to any pad you want.
You doin it over there I see... Thanx for sharing....
But why hdo you have the MPD as well as the MPC500, that is pad overload IMHO... Please explain if you don't mind.. I am always open to learn new things..
At first I was making beats with my mpd24 and reason, then I bought a MPC 500 but the pads on the 500 are not as responsive as the Mpd24, you need to bang hard wich at first I didnt like but I got used to it. It was also to show that hooking up the Mpd24 with the 500 was easy,
was that a dm2?

hi there mate! i just wanted to know how do you hook up your mpc500 to trigger cue points in traktor. thanks mate!
junejhunkie 3 years ago
Never done this before but it should go like:
Midi out of the MPC to midi in of your sound card, then go in your setting in traktor, activate the midi input in traktor, then go in your midi setting and you should see something like start cue, map it with the midi learn to any pad you want.
Peace
