  • if i ever get a T i was wanting to get a Avicularia Versicolor ~ they are really pretty :)

  • It's born an icky yellow colour, like everyone else.. It''s not untill the 3rd instar it turns blue!

  • hi there!

you've done it nicely, but your spider is too small for such a big container, he won't grow or will grow really slowly, because if the container is too big for him, he'll have to work really hard to get himself some meal and spent the most of it energy for running around trying to find something to eat instead of growing. realy small box will suit him better for some time, then he'll grow faster and you can give him something bigger.

  • do u like have 2 but a water dish or something o.o

  • @GlobalAndy

Yeah, so they can "drink" or get hydration from

  • LOL , boi sie koles pajaczka xD

  • I would have to say that is a fine setup, in fact, I use the same setup when raising both spiderlings and scorplings.

  • as long as you dont always feed like u did constanly cuz then it would be overfeeding...since its only a baby..every 3 days is good feeding habits but by the time he or she is an adult, only once a week :)mines a pig too...but i kept feeding it every 3 days now :)

  • have u ever been biten by one of ur spider?

  • nope

  • how much was this guy? o and 1 more ? do u live with ur parents or not?

  • $25 CAD and yes i do

  • dude ur so effin lucky, my mom barely lets me keep my 3 lizards and snake

  • dude there arboreal what u should do is take a bit of substrate out and give it more room for twigs for it to climb .... i would recomend that u switch housing to a setup which has more hight than floor space .... at the moment it looks a little poor as it did not move during the whole video and should be trying to escape a the threat which it did not do .... and try not to feed it to much ..... 3 or 4 meals should make it like double in size .. watch my videos and comment .. bye

  • hey mate how is the avic sling ? i just got 2 ! did your servive? cheers dude

  • if you feed it to much it can die :D...and cont hold it to much in your hands its not god for the spider.. he will stop eating and stuff like that..

  • and shit ur music at the end freaked me out lol

  • same here i was like calm then bam i jump bout a foot

  • how do you not like this song...

  • he will lose his blue color as he matures or molts a few more times but nice spider!!! :)

  • yes but then he will go purple and a bunch of colours :D

  • o well, ive got a poecilotheria metallica coming on monday :D so excited

  • Woah! That are very very beautiful Tarantulas!

Here in Germany they cost as spiderling 150-250 Euro and as adult near to 350-500Euro

  • I think that 2 micro crickets in a week is not to much.

I feed my Avicularia bicegoi spiderling 1-2 mikro crickets a week.

Nice Spiderling :) I am from germany, here the spiderlings don´t cost so much!

    Thats awesome! $150!!! PUH!

  • Nice versi. You must have gotten it from Tarantula Canada. I got a poecilotheria subfusca and ephebopus from them. Nice setup, just transferred my psalmopoeus pulcher a similar container and setup. Ya, way big difference in price. My versicolor was $150

  • ephebopus uatuman. Thanks for subbing. I', relatively experienced with T keeping

  • thanks for the comment...yeah i did get it from tarantula canada..ill take a look at your vids

  • Awesome I deal with them all the time. 80% of my Ts come from them

  • well i heard they can get deathstalkers and i dont see them on thier website and i really want one...they are hard to find

  • Ya, they're pretty short-listed on their scorpions. I was lucky to get some babycurus jacksoni from a breeder that sold them to Tarantula Canada. My friend has the LQ, he said to me its a petrock lol.

I usually go there in person to collect my specimens. But Amanda told me there will be an import coming on July 7.

  • sweet

  • yes...common name is pinktoe...it was between this and red knee, i got this because its more colourful and it makes fancy webs if you give it enough space.

  • I wanted one of these because they're friendly and docile :P

This is an Antilles Pinktoe right ?

I love them as adults they are like lime green and pink :D

hm.. I suck at naming thing :P

  • thank you, i need a name for it lol
