you've done it nicely, but your spider is too small for such a big container, he won't grow or will grow really slowly, because if the container is too big for him, he'll have to work really hard to get himself some meal and spent the most of it energy for running around trying to find something to eat instead of growing. realy small box will suit him better for some time, then he'll grow faster and you can give him something bigger.
as long as you dont always feed like u did constanly cuz then it would be overfeeding...since its only a baby..every 3 days is good feeding habits but by the time he or she is an adult, only once a week :)mines a pig too...but i kept feeding it every 3 days now :)
dude there arboreal what u should do is take a bit of substrate out and give it more room for twigs for it to climb .... i would recomend that u switch housing to a setup which has more hight than floor space .... at the moment it looks a little poor as it did not move during the whole video and should be trying to escape a the threat which it did not do .... and try not to feed it to much ..... 3 or 4 meals should make it like double in size .. watch my videos and comment .. bye
Nice versi. You must have gotten it from Tarantula Canada. I got a poecilotheria subfusca and ephebopus from them. Nice setup, just transferred my psalmopoeus pulcher a similar container and setup. Ya, way big difference in price. My versicolor was $150
Ya, they're pretty short-listed on their scorpions. I was lucky to get some babycurus jacksoni from a breeder that sold them to Tarantula Canada. My friend has the LQ, he said to me its a petrock lol.
I usually go there in person to collect my specimens. But Amanda told me there will be an import coming on July 7.
yes...common name is pinktoe...it was between this and red knee, i got this because its more colourful and it makes fancy webs if you give it enough space.
dude...its set up is way to large for its size...he soo insy bitsy...but hey if hes doing fine then kool

I would have to say that is a fine setup, in fact, I use the same setup when raising both spiderlings and scorplings.

Woah! That are very very beautiful Tarantulas!
Here in Germany they cost as spiderling 150-250 Euro and as adult near to 350-500Euro
neyzenilkay 3 years ago
I think that 2 micro crickets in a week is not to much.
I feed my Avicularia bicegoi spiderling 1-2 mikro crickets a week.
Nice Spiderling :) I am from germany, here the spiderlings don´t cost so much!
Thats awesome! $150!!! PUH!
