  • bring us more cubans, deport the damn mexicans..............

  • FIDEL HAS MILKED CUBA AND ITS PEOPLE DRY.

  • • To those of you who have no side on Cuba; If you are a freedom loving person then you may read all the lies about Cuba and believed them. I would ask that you please don't. I have visited the Island several times. There I found what the nature of freedom is: You can't have the freedom "to" if you don't have the freedom "from". You want to do whatever, say whatever, and explore whatever you want. But it's hard to do that if you're not free from hunger, disease, injury and ignorance (continued.)

  • • ...Thats is one of the goals of socialism. To take the value created by industries in any given nation and put to collective use for all in said same nation such as food rationing, free medical care, and free schools (at all levels). For if a person is homeless, hungry, injured, contracted pneumonia, and is uneducated then what good is the freedom "to"? This is exactly what Cuba is trying to achieve. The problem is the embargo. It's putting the building of socialism through a hindered pace.

  • Fidel is not a dictator. Dictators don't teach the poor literacy. Dictators don't arm the people from the threat of invasion. Dictators don't provide free medical care. Dictators don't ration the food products among the people. Dictators don't cut off diplomatic ties with Israel over the mistreatment of Palestinians. Dictators don't organize teams of doctors to go and provide free medical care to the poor in third world countries. If Castro is a Dictator then he is the strangest one there is.

  • Those dirty illegals., they just take real american jobs

  • @chewbaca1997 dude, people are people. I don't hate any race. You're not worth my time. Stick to your xbox life, and I'll stick my life in reality. You think "honky" hurts coming from an immigrant's offspring? Dude, my coworkers refer to me as gringo all the time too, that isn't shit. My boss is Cuban, famous, and gave me my first real medical job after college when my fellow honkies turned me away for lack of experience. Choke on a dick.

  • @chewbaca1997 really bad. this motherfucker is a fat whore. drunk piece of shit. denening cuba literacy rate is not 100 %. motherfucker.

  • cuba

  • What a load of crap! Under president Regan in 1984, it was agreed that the US would offer 20,000 visas a year for anyone wishing to move to the US. However, at most, some 1,200 a year are ever given, which means anyone wishing to leave, is prevented from doing so. Then there is the 'wet foot, dry foot' policy when dealing with Cubans arriving by sea. If you manage to land in Florida (dry foot), you can claim automatic asylum. If you are caught at sea (wet foot), then you are sent back to Cuba!

  • Stupid cubans need to stop coming and taking over Florida. I need to learn spanish now because of there illegal actions... If i see a cuban smuggling boat, I shoot all of them straight in the head. watch out cubans...

  • @SloppierTAY sabes creo que si que debes aprender espanol , yo me cago n tu mama

  • lift the ban!

  • @JohnfromPerth See your capitalism in Latin America, moron. It make people sick, that's why Chavez, and his friends have place in political scene

  • @50poiuyt This moron, stupid communist does not know anything. He is so stupid that he repeats everything he said everyday. Copied other people's words and posted here. What a dumb communist! Communists are murderers, criminals, dirty people. This guy represents how stupid communists are hahaha.

  • Wonderful. Thank you. Good work.

  • Mojo you are right. In which countries in the world you can live without working, paying 30c of electricity bill having the nicest women in the world. They come here and masturbate coz no women woule look at a cuban. THey think you can pick money on the floor in Miami. They don't know Miami is screwed up as hell.

  • God damn filthy immigrants! Instead of escaping your shithole country and evading your problems like a bunch of cowards you could try to make the best out of your shitty life. You have a fucking job provided for you, and a fucking house! Quit your bitching about how shitty your life is! In the US theres a shitload of bums that the gov doesn't help out. Now GTFO my country you fuckin pests!

  • Well, if you lived in a country with a really bad government and no freedom, you'd want to come to a free country too. This is a life or death situation, do you even know how big of a deal it is for them to come here? A life-changing experience. America provides the best government in the world even though it may not be very good. So respect their freedoms, they're humans too you know. They have rights like everyone else. They're better off here than any other poor country.

  • It's so sad seeing those Cubans trying to flee! Getting on those boats made of drift wood and soda bottles! Makes me sad! We need to do something about this!

  • If cuba is so wonderfull, why are cubans fleeing the island?

  • Because they are so happy, they have to tell their joy to the world.

  • @kodachromefilm JAJAJAJAJA Good joke!

  • @marck0938 I know! It makes me sad there are still places in the world like that!

  • Because of the illegally imposed embargo.

  • @rednemesis88 That is the most absurd communist excuse, now answer me why is Castro one of the richest man in the world according to Forbes magazine?900,000 000 dollars, there is no embargo.Fidel is the only embargo with his decadent colonial policies of opression and killings.

  • @marck0938 Now answer me, why do you believe biased magazines?

  • You know, one of the times that I visited the island a relative took me to this place that were selling soft drinks. Only that they weren't selling it, it was a ration distribution center and they gave my relative like 20 bottles. It had a nice sweet taste. Hey! maybe thats why they won't drink coca cola- they really don't need it.

  • The only one to blame is the Castro-communism,they are the ones that have been destroying cuba for the last 51 years, you communist can fool anyone but me,oh,and let me add I'm not a right wing extremist and I'm not from Miami.Down with communism!

  • Everything is USA'S fault some indian gets kill in mexico or south america is usa's fault, somebody shit their pants is usa's fault go back to your beaner shitty countries and stop blaming usa for everything.

  • America is to blame for most of the worlds problems not just here in this continent but in other from Asia to the Middle East to the Caribbeans.

  • Can you believe i meet american cityzens that left their own country and prefer to live in Cuba than in their own U S of A.Let all the cubans come over to North America so they work 3 jobs at a time, they will get another boat back to Cuba in a few days.

  • I'll stop blaming the USA when the USA cancels the third world debt.

  • hope they made it!!!

  • everyone deserves freedom and happiness dont they? so why should anyone have to fight so hard to get it?

  • dude i have a frien that is cuban named jose 0:32

  • Whoever u r down below my comment u sound more like racist. I'm agree to legalize em all or none. That's more fare. Don't hate n the lil kids they us citizens already! Either Cuban n mexicans get the same treatment or get deported one of em sound more like it

  • And don't start that bullshit of we were here first. Countries are lost and won in wars. Countries were also bought and sold. Countries are bought and sold. That's the way it is!! And the whole thing of coming here and having a baby is utter nonsense. ROUND THEM UP, MOTHER, FATHERS , AND ANCHOR BABIES, AND DEPORT THEM!! It is out of hand and something is going to be done. The feel sorry for me thing is not working anymore. PLEASE GO BACK HOME AND COME BACK HERE LEGALLY!!!

  • Actually, nothing is going to be done. Our vote decides outcomes because were powerful, and wealthy. Oh yea, this isn't your home; your home is where your parents or grandparents hopped off the boat from, this land belongs to the so called Indians.

  • Round em up and deport their asses!! If you want to come to America, come here legally!! Coming here illegally is breaking American laws. Coming to America by jumping the fence or by floating over by boat, or not returning to your country when your visa is up is bullshit!! My family came here legally and learned to read and write English. Illegal immigrants are a drain on our economy. So don't be surprised when you get deported. I hope this happens soon than later. THIS IS BULLSHIT!!

  • Why cubans gotta b granted to asylum once they make it to my country? I dnt care they still elligal or wet back, if the goverment can't grant mexicans to legalize their status once they make it here why wud we grant cubans to do so? He'll naaaw we gotta b fare to mexicans n cubans or everybody go back to yaks country

  • The US does it to make the Cuban government look bad

  • Platanorico86.I believe everyone knows america its the dream country for a lot of people to cuban I may say its the only country that will have an economical support for us whether people like this or not we always were very close to america .this does not make us better than any other country but there was a community of cubans in miami before the revolution, and its only fair to point it out that cubans will find this a way to start a new life with people they understand.

  • My mom said the president is a bastard. lol ^_^

But if you have actually seen Cuba and all they fucking go thru you would understand why America would be there dream. Trust me the rest of my family (Except my aunt uncle and dad) are stuck in Cuba.

  • The only reason why they are stuck in Cuba is because the US state department won't give anybody on the island visas. That way, the people will have no choice but to become 'balseros' and it makes the US look good by giving them the global photo op' as the coast gaurd rescues them.

  • all of u dont know what cuabns have to go through in life! ok america is thier dream so respect them!

  • kill all those spics

  • kill yourself you fucking prick moron.

  • wtf? u guys think cubans are the only ones who come in boats to america? why dont u guys look at haiti and see how many haitians try to come here dying!! the get sent back like monkeys. buts its ok to let cubans in becuase they come from a socialist country give me a fucking break. ask urselfs why mexicans cross the border and they are not dictators on that country but yet they still leave? cmon use common sense

  • Send em back to Castro the traitor bastards

  • you are an idiot....

hope cuban mob in burnley will kil u ...

  • este hijo de puta debe ser dominicano. que todos adoran acastro y detestan este pais.

  • go and suck castro's dick. you piece of shit.

  • Come on man. Don't call them traitors. I am a Cuban-American who supports the revolution but I don't call them traitors because Castro has always said that if anyone wanted to leave the island they could- but only legally. And since the US state dept. will only give out few visas, the people have no choice but to leave through rafts. After all, if you can't support the Cuba's efforts, you might as well leave, because they ain't making the world any better by using up the isle's resourses.

  • key word Cuban-AMERICAN. As in you've never lived in that hell hole. Why don't you go over there for a few months and we'll see how much you support the revolution after wiping your but with old newspapers because the country doesn't have enough toilet paper.

  • I have been to Cuba and yes there are shortages and other hardships. But it is not fair to blame the native government. The US governemnt is responsible for those hardships because they have imposed an illegal trade embargo on the island for over 50 years now.

  • as if the US is the only country that Cuba can trade with. Cuba can trade with almost every other nation in the world but they still have massive shortages. Cuba was also very self sufficient before Castro. For example, in 1959 Cuba had more cows than people. Now, beef is in such short supply that being caught with it can get you an eight year prison sentence.

as for the embargo being illegal, since when is it illegal for a country to decide what to do with its own resources.

  • There are only a few countries that Cuba can trade with and even then it does not give them everything that the island needs. The reason why there is little beef in Cuba is because of the acts of agricultural terror the CIA inflicted of the island. The embargo is illegal because the UN did not approved it. And what do you mean by "illegal for a country to decide what to do ..." Cuba is not the 51 state. Cuba belongs to the Cubans not the US nor it's corporate masters.

  • Agricultural terrorism? Are you stupid? The reason for Cuba's agricultural problems is extremely poor governmental management. Even the Cuban government recognizes that.

And since when does the UN get to approve embargos?

  • First of all, please don't call me stupid. I never once insulted you in my responses. I expect you to do the same. It is well documented that the CIA as well as Cuban-American terrorist groups have commited such acts of terror on the island. Go to the freedom of information act website. It's all there. Yes there is some government mismanagement, but only small- not extremely. The UN deals with issues that happen on the international level. So yes, embargos and sanctions are their juristiction.

  • what specific acts of terror are you talking about? Government mismanagement in Cuba is extreme to the point that half the tillable fields in Cuba are unused and beef is so rare that it is illegal to posess it. Did the CIA kill all the cows? or did they put mines in the fields?

These statistics are well documented and similar mismanagement happened in every other communist country such as China, the USSR, and North Korea).

  • If what you are saying is true then how come the Cuban government never once asked for international assistance from the red cross and such. China, USSR and North Korea are not really communist countries. Their respective economies are distributed for equal usage for their entire populations. But on the political level their respective worker and farmer classes have no real power as far as what they can decide on collectively. It's not that way with the Cuban government. It's real socialism.

  • @rednemesis88 North lorea is a communist country, and the reason cuba never ask help from the red cross is that Castro always wants to play the victim of USA besides I lived in cuba,I have experienced living in both countries don't you think I know the different between living free and living opressed. Those workers and farmers you see there don't own anything because everything belong to the Communist states,The econimic system is set up to profit only one person CASTRO and his cronies.

  • If Castro wanted to be rich all he had to do was to allow the US corporations to exploit the people. Just like many of the real dictators in the 3rd world do. The Us government love people like Truijo and Pinochet. They allow the US corporations to do whatever they want to the people and Washington DC, the alledged leaders of the "Free" world, turns a blind eye. Castro did the right thing and said no to American big business. The workers and farmers collectively control Havana, therefore the Isl

  • @rednemesis88 That is a lie,the reason there is not food in cuba is the result of the communist system mismanagement and the corruption of the Castro regime, read, listen and live.WHO IS WORST THAT THE CUBAN G-2?BY THE WAY WHY ARE GIVING YOUR OPINION YOU ARE NOT CUBAN SHUT-UP.

  • First of all, please do not tell me to shut up. I never once disrespected anyone in my responses. Second of all I'm Cuban-American and have been to the island. What I saw was a country that is collectively controlled by the workers and farmers of that same country. A far cry from what I see going on in the USA.

  • @rednemesis88 I'm cuban American and I fought for america'I'm a veteran of the Iraq war,I been there twice and It bothers me that cuban defend a country where people are kill everyday,if you like the communist system go to Cuba and enjoy the communist paradise.

  • I never said Cuba was a paradise. And who are these people being killed everyday? I find that hard to believe. So you've been to Iraq twice, what does that have to do with Cuba. But now that you've brought that up, you didn't fight for America. You fought so that American oil companies can make more money that what they already have or even need. I could move to Cuba but I'd rather stay here and convince the workers and farmers about the truth about Cuba. They are the island's greatest ally.

  • @rednemesis88 No I fight so everyone in this country have freedoms even you ignorant communist,by the way I'm not extreme right,I just love freedom and everytime you go to cuba and enjoy the ocean and go to patries there a political prisoner get shot down by the communists.GO BACK TO CUBA COMMIE!DOWN WITH FIDEL AND HIS BUNCH OF ASSESINS!

  • @marck0938 I have relatives in Cuba and was aloud to visit them everywhere. I would love to stay in Cuba but she doesn't need another mouth to feed- just a world-wide revolution.

  • @rednemesis88 Amen mate.

  • @marck0938 Marck the problem starts here: a nail seen everyday will never rust, a nail seen once in a year, rusts everyday. You being a veteran isn't a valid argument. Now what have you done there? Disturbing eastern people's life?

You don't seem to realize that the eastern world and the western world is a whole different world. You can't force your so called freedom system in another country, not an eastern country that is.

  • @LelouchDiBritannia We are not forcing freedom,we are giving people HOPE,providing for them, giving them life, thing that communism does not provide to people,we help them built houses, help them built a solid government where they can use to protect themselves from terrorism, these are things the leftist media donot inform people, they show only lies they want you to believe.

  • @marck0938 Just an example: You live in a country which is made by you and your people. Now 1 day, a whole other country( with another nationality) comes to your country and they also stay there. As you can't speak their language and them being totally overpowered by weapons: how would it end? peace or chaos?

  • @rednemesis88 Now if what you are saying makes sense why the sons and daughters of the General in Cuba are healthy and regular citizen do not have milk for their kids, why Fidel Castro's Grandsons have milk and live like kings?the problem is that the so call embargo goes only in one way,it only goes against the regular Cuban,USA helps cuba with medicines and agriculture products.Open your eyes and research the right way not the left way.

  • @fshjshshhs You moron. Cuba is a lone island in the middle of the Caribbean. It is not surrounded by other nations with wealth as is Europe, and many foreign companies are threatened by the US not to trade with Cuba or they will cut of connections with them. When the Soviet Union fell 80% of Cuba's trade ties were cut. Now where do you expect them to make that up from? The US is by far the richest nation in the world, instead they'd rather pay Israel billions of tax dollars to blow up hospitals

  • @SupremePenguinTone

Cuba's biggest trading partner is Canada, which is also the biggest trading partner of the US. The shortages and poverty that are now rampant in Cuba are a result of the poor economic planning that comes with communism. The same thing happened in every single other communist state, such as China, Romania, Poland, and the USSR. No one feels threatened to trade with Cuba. Enjoy being ignorant.

  • @fshjshshhs Cuba have no imports to Canada and their second largest exporter is Canada which is only a quater of their produce. You may want to check your facts first. And why is it these economic problems have only become since the fall of the Soviet Union? Before then these problems didn't exist. But as for the poverty here are some reasons why they struggle "Beginning in 1992 (After the SU fell), the Cuban Democracy Act imposed a ban on subsidiary trade with Cuba. This ban has

  • @SupremePenguinTone Plenty of problems existed before the USSR fell. I can't tell you how many stories I've heard... Though I will agree that it has worsened due to the lack of trade with the Soviet Bloc.

  • @CyborgNinja7 Yes I know. The Soviet Union (after Lenin) practiced a horrible form of Socialism going against nearly all Marxist teachings. From things such as capital punishment (which Marx was against) to racism (which Lenin was against).

  • @fshjshshhs severely constrained Cuba's ability to import medicines and medical supplies from third country sources. Moreover, recent corporate buyouts and mergers between major U.S. and European pharmaceutical companies have further reduced the number of companies permitted to do business with Cuba.", "The U.S. Treasury and Commerce Departments are allowed in principle to license individual sales of medicines and medical supplies, ostensibly for humanitarian reasons to mitigate the embargo's

  • @fshjshshhs impact on health care delivery. In practice, according to U.S. corporate executives, the licensing provisions are so arduous as to have had the opposite effect. As implemented, the licensing provisions actively discourage any medical commerce. The number of such licenses granted-or even applied for since 1992-is minuscule. Numerous licenses for medical equipment and medicines have been denied on the grounds that these exports "would be detrimental to U.S. foreign policy interests."

  • @SupremePenguinTone

do you have any clue what you're talking about? It doesn't sound like it. Canada is Cuba's second biggest trading partner, recieving 22% of all Cuban exports. Furthermore, these economic problems existed long before the collapse of the Soviet Union (they were occurring in the USSR as well).

  • @fshjshshhs Where are you pulling your facts from? Wikipedia?

  • apparently you haven't lived in cuba. $20 a month? i spend that on a dinner. come on. don't blame the us embargo. cuba deals with other countries. canada. venezuela, russia. iran. illegal? we have embargo on iran. is that illegal? why is it illegal to protest a radical regim like cuba?

  • You can protest all you want. Just don't make the people suffer for it.

  • TO ALL here:

DO YOU THINK IS GONNA CHANGE AFTER COSTRO DEATH ?

do you think Raul will make even bigger changes ?

even his billionare family wants more money .....

  • Castro ..sorry El Comandante :-)

  • 4barbudos ..good thing the majority of us root for life .. ppl like you are a shame to human kind ... to make fun of the poor cuban rafters is like making fun of the holocaust victims, or the thousands Stalin sent to die in Siberia.. I respect everybody's point of view or political ideas but your comment is downright cynical , depraved and evil... If ppl like you are the ones building revolutions and selling communism then I would like to be on the other side of the list.

  • Anybody here have that video of that Cuban national who was just yards from the beach? He jukes this cop trying to keep him from setting foot onto US soil. This guy dives around the cop onto the beach. Wet foot dry foot, he got to stay. I laughed my ass off when I saw that, the guy earned his stay. lol

  • Hijo de puta, Don't blame those who comit it ,blame those who cause it!migration illegal or not is something that happed thousands of years ago a still does and still will ..It's a human way to survive. Sometimes is cause by nature ,other by currupted Goverments or economic deficit!I wonder who was the IDIOT who named illegals those who are trying to have a better living! Thank God for your luck ! Maybe you need a lesson .Perhaps to live in a third world country under their circumtances!

  • [im Cuban,and speak Spanish]

cuba tiene la mejor educacion del mundo y unos de los mjores sitemas de salud del mundo..

you need to live there before you open your mouths you ignorant fucks.

  • Solo una pregunta..si tanto te gusta Cuba..que haces en los Estados Unidos?. Yo vivi en Cuba...y a mi tu no me haces un cuento!

  • im from colon matanza, perrico is near it. iv been through perrco. came over here when i was 5 in 1998 so i dont remember alot but iv been to it a couple times before. its sad. thank god i came here on a plane with my brother mom and dad. =\ it was like this raffel thing they had and if they picked your name youd be able to leave. it was called "el sorteo" i think. i wonder when the communism will end. i hope im still alive to see it end.

  • The very chaotic laws that govern the economy of capitalism garantee it's destruction under the boothill of the workers and farmers of the world. As long as capitalismn exists so will the "threat" of socialism.

  • @rednemesis88 Go back to cuba communist if you love communism so much,no one is forcing you to live in a capitalist country.

  • Comment removed

  • Balsero Gusanos -vs- Sharks

    ... I root for the Sharks :o)

  • There is only ONE nation in all of Latin America where children don't spend the night on the streets homeless ... only ONE nation in all of Latin America where every child has free schooling and healthcare ...

    that ONE country is CUBA

  • schooling is free only if you want to attend military training and labor camps.

Health care is free only if you want long waits and subtandard care (unless you're willing to bribe the doctors). The country is also short on the most basic medicine (such as asprin and cold medicine). My family still has to send my relatives in Cuba the most basic medicines.

As for children not sleeping on the street, dream on pal. Most families can't even afford shoes for their kids.

  • I believe school is for free ...for sure !

I talked to locals in Holguin

healthcare is for free too ,but comparing to our European standarts very modest and short of pills and medicine ,I agree.

but they have a good clinics in major cities .

so education and healthcare is best in Caribbean ...

but no middle clas ..I am kind of womder how can they afford expensive stuff in store ,how they making Cucos ( conv pesos )if not working in resort bar!.

  • The trade embargo has a lot to do with the shortage of supplies and lack of funding for repairs. Cuba can only deal with a handful of countries without the U.S. intervening with sanctions so where else do you expect the income and supplies to come from?

  • Cuba deals with EVERY country except the US and Israel, which it refuses to recognize. Canada is both Cuba's and the US's biggest trading partner.

And the US isn't the only country to produce the needed supplies in Cuba.

  • @4Barbudos

uh, yes they do. The best country in Latin America right now in terms of human development (education, literacy, income, health care, etc.) is Chile. Cuba is fourth behind Uruguay and Argentina as well. And what's also funny is that these three nations are all resonably free and democratic.

  • When is the Cuban people going to learn its time for Cuban people to fix Cuba. War against Castro

when this hapends USA and the rest of the world will see this and then can and will help. PEOPLE OF CUBA CIVAL WAR BRING BACK CUBA ITS YOUR LAND AND COUNTRY. TAKE WHAT IS YOURS. Stop blaming USA for your problems

  • The Cuban people had a great opportunity for civil war when the Soviets fell in '91. I recall how the Miami Mafia were licking thier chops at the idea. If it had, the US military would've been ordered to swoop in and destroy the revolution, just like they did to Granada in '82 after the stalinists in that island killed Maurice Bishop. The only conclusion I can get from that is that the Cubans support Castro.

  • @rednemesis88 GO BACK TO CUBA COMMUNIST!Cubans in the island fear castroi ignorant!

  • nobody can feed a family with $20 a month, For GOD´S SAKE, Fuck you fidel, fuck you raul, and FUCK OFF the usa´s embargo, Obama should change the policy against cuba soon, cuban people are sufering for those bastards, generation after generations have been suffering It´s enough.

  • get rid of the commies and we will lift our embargo. We can choose who we want to trade with, don't get mad at us for that.

  • @NJRocks281 But no one has the right to tell other countries who they can trade with which is the main method of the illegally imposed embargo on Cuba. Besides, the embargo hurts the children on the island and thats never justified.

  • abajo fidel!!!!!abajo con el communismo!!!!abajo con el socialismo!!!! Que Viva EE.UU.!!!!! Que Viva USA!!!!!! Cuba Libre!!!!! Free Cuba!!!!

  • hahhaha!! Castro send them to miami cuz they are trash and he doesnt want trash in his country!

  • the problem is the only trash here is you. piece of shit. go to cuba and live with castro. you moron. ignorant animal.

  • me resingo en tu madre lilnikk2004 you need to live there before you open your mouth ashole

  • el bollo de tu madre .

  • yo me cago en la madre de todos los comunistas.

  • I visite many times Cuba because I am travel agent and i love this Island and his people!

I saw 20 different countrys in lat.america most of them democracys but the condotions are worst!

Bye the way,i dont like Castro but also not the US gouverment!

  • I'm a white Canadian who visits Cuba every year (since 1979). I can tell you that most Cubans are not violent criminals, although I do admit many of them do not know what it is like to work forty hours a week, or be responsible for debts. I would rather have a Cuban come into my country than a Muslim, but that is just my preference.

  • el bollo de tu madre envidiosa.

  • WOW coca cola. the most addictive and unhealthy soft drink. Don't you think Cuban's know how bad is this drink. That is why they don't sell it in any regular store. I don't let my kids drink it and I live in a place that has it in every store. Please make this a better argument, don't put such a bad example. Don't you remember the Mexican poem..."gringos go home, and take coca cola with you"

  • Yeah, and people form Mexico come here for what? and the argentinians? and the italians? and the isrelies? and the chinese, koreans, and polish and the Dominicans?because their economie is strugulling and the neoliberalism is a problem not the socialism. Many come illegaly, risking their lives.

  • well, it's heel due to the restriction put by our country. If teh USA would let other countries to commerce with Cuba, then it would be different.

  • The us represents a symbol of freedom and hope, however flawed. It's better than the reality lived in Cuba and so many other poor countries. One cannot completely appreciate freedom and hope if you have never been deprived of them. Cuba is thirsty for freedom,a better life and the all human dream,

what some may call the american dream.

It's sad when a man has to decide to leave his family, get on an overcrowded boat with the odds against him, thinking death can be cheated with hope and a dream

  • When the US was founded over 200 years ago, freedom was the ideal. But capitalism today has robbed a great majority of us in the lower classes of any real freedom. I mean, are the homeless free? Are hungry children free? Are people in the ghettos free? Are the uninsured free? It's very hard to be free if you are hungry, homeless, poor and are sick all the time. Thats why Cuba gives out free food and medical care; because you got to have the freedom from before you can have the freedom to.

  • @rednemesis88 #If you like communism so much, what are you doing in USA?Go to Cuba or any communist country so you'll live its reality.

#In Iraq soldiers do not fight for oil,in america there is plenty oil in texas and Alaska,I can tell you have been fed by the liberal media and I do not care what you believe is your choice to believe in your communism but do not tell me in Castro's prisons, political prisoners do not get kill everyday because they do,there is plenty evidence.

  • @rednemesis88 Hey is very simple go back to your communist paradise HYPOCRITE! get out of USA and go back to cuba,COMMIE!

  • @marck0938 I can't leave. Someone has to counter-mand your lies against the most important country in the world. Besides if I move to Cuba I'll just be using up her resources instead of being in the 'states trying to build support amongst the American workers and farmers to defend the Revolution. The American worker is the greatest potential alley the island can have.

  • @rednemesis88

the average time a homeless person is homeless in the USA is one day. Those you are referring to are largely mentally ill or on drugs. These people enjoy free health care at the countys' expense. For example, Reno spends over $100,000 per drug addict while covering their medical costs. Furthermore, thanks to capitalism, nearly 70% of the US is middle class.

Also, freedom refers to political rights, not economic status. The poor have the same rights as everyone else in the US

  • @fshjshshhs Having worked at a homeless shelter, I can tell you only a small percentage of the homeless are mentally ill. Substance abuse is common (mainly alcoholism), and I hope that instead of pointing fingers people will try to help the homeless - and it takes more than just throwing money at the problem.

  • @fshjshshhs I second what cyborgninja7 said

  • @fshjshshhs What good are those political rights if you hungry, homeless, sick, uninsured, injured and in debt?

  • too bad for him mobility practically doesn't exist in America as well good luck with the " American Dream"

  • I live in S. Florida and personally I think the Cubans have done very well for themselves as a whole. Granted sometimes Miami resembles Latin America more than the U.S. but would doesn't kill us to experience other cultures of hear languages other than English once in a while.

  • I just hate calling a store or going to a store in Miami and nobody speaks english, I was born here of latin decent but never learned spanish so when people see me, they think I speak spanish. I think that if you come here, the least you can do is speak the language.

  • Listen you fucking asswipe! i am Cuban and even though I speak English. It is not as easy for some. I bet if your ass was somehere in the indigenous parts of Swaziland. and you met a few english speaking people you would feel comfortable speaking English.

  • visit south fla and see why we need a real immigration policy in place!! its like liveing in another country.. And not one of the people who dont speak english care about the sacrifice people have made for them to come here and milk the system!!when castro goes I hope they go!! see you! god bless america, we need it!!

  • The Al Jazera reporter forgot to tell the public that 125,000 Cuban refgugees came to Miami in an illegal invasion in 1980 & brought 50,000 murderers, psychopaths, criminally insane, drug pushers, hitmen, enforcers, prostitutes and misfits as quoted in U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT

Jan.16, 1984. 1 year after invading Miami,Fla.& created 621 murders! There were so many murders Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner ran out of space in the morgue & had to rent a refrigerated truck to store the excess bodies!

  • and you are forgetting to say that castro organized that illegal invasion, it was castro the one that collected all his criminals from prisons and sent them to USA, just to make people believe that only criminals escaped from his regime. Cubans have no more criminals than americans sir.

  • actually tedd, most of us are very aware of the sacrifice, and as we pay our taxes and have no help since the second or third month in america, we are a big part of the sacrifice too, our money is helping too, you know and my english is horrible, but I've managed to speak some english to communicate with whoever is interested. I believe you are a little bit prejudiced maybe, pity, on the other hand most americans are not prejudiced thank god.

  • 3000 arrived to USA, but about 7000 parted from Cuba during 2007.......how many more dead the world will need to understand cuban's tragedy? "busque por el malecon y la avenida del puerto, donde la brisa del mar trae aliento de los muertos..."

  • You are making a false assumption that since

7000 left Cuba & only 3000 arrived in Miami, Fla. that there must be 4000 lost or lost at sea! Thousands of Cuban refgees are going in boats through the country called Belize by paying bribes to Mexican border agents who let them enter Mexico, then cross the Mexican border into the U.S. at Ariz.,Texas, New Mexico, Colo. or Calif. and take a bus to Miami. This is a well known route for Cuban smugglers, many who came to the U.S. as Cuban refugees.

  • very good sir, let's say only 50 died, it's that ok with you? It's still not ok with us. I didn't mentioned 4000 died or are lost, that's actually YOUR assumption, but from what you're saying: maybe nobody is dead?. By the way, "my" false assumption source is from USA coastguard services, they say a third of cubans departing from the island DIE at sea.

  • bs. anything not okay with you.

eu and usa drown refugees willingly. so what? doesn't tell cuba is bad, only that it seems poor from the inside.

  • i say nuke the cubans and all will be well

  • If we nuked the cubans wouldn't we be taking the blaim for the tourists that are innocent and come from a diff country???

  • what the fuck kind of tourist would visit Cuba

  • nah, you'll just take for yourself the same category of the guys crashing jets against the twin towers.

  • f you prefer reality to propaganda, spin and BS read this website:

    IamMyOwnReporter dot com

It is packed with facts, surveys and experiences from an independent unbiased American journalist that has visited the Island several times recently.

  • To visit the island several times recently with an american passport in your pocket is no big deal, but to live there with no rights and no passport. to really taste how it looks like in the jail you should'nt be an unbiased weekend visitor, but an inmate, or you might think at the end of the day, that it's like vacations to be in jail or that support totalitarism in Cuba is what being a socialist is all about.
