  • I've never understood this form of protest. What exactly do these folks imagine they're accomplishing? This is like the former Japanese kamikaze pilot who has turned to a life of crime and approaches his victim with the following proposition: Give me all your money or I'll kill myself! / Guys, go have a burger. Enough already. The only people who'll feel sorry for you are the ones who already agree with you. You're preaching to the choir ... and engaging in questionable dietary practices.

  • This form of protest gets a dialogue started. People begin to take notice of issues they never thought about before. The fast led to thousands of people pledging for immigrant rights and brought a number of human rights organizations together. Comparing the fast to kamikazes is just wrong. There is no comparison. The fasters had doctors there at all times. Fasting is also practiced by many cultures. The fast was not started for people to feel sorry, it was for people to recognize the issue.

  • Look at GeauxNOSaints's comments on vids all over YouTube, & look at his own vids, & you'll see that his real problem is that he is a Mexican-hating racist, using the illegal trans-border migrant worker( not illegal immigration) issue as his cover story.
