  • Oh nice! Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, coming out of nowhere!

  • The title doesn't mention that Rambln' Gamblin' Man is after Fire down below

  • Dude I just got done watching a few Live in 75 Kiss vids....and I think ah Bob Segar is Sounding mighty fine right now hahahaha I just got done jammin to Her Strut good. I like the way this guy sings.

  • Lord I would so do him...

  • @judyview LMAO! - me too, back in the day! (I was 17 my first show - he was around 30!) .... still hot after all these years! - SEGER that is . . . :)

  • Probably my two favorite Seger songs back to back. Thanks for posting. Still got my mom's old Seger albums. Her granddaughters dance to them now. Gotta raise'em right.

  • @drlepper72 hell ya my dad raised me on this and ill raise my son on it!!! best music ever!!!

  • Seger looks like one bad dude to mess with, great rocker!

  • @neverindoubt He won't dare take a stand

  • LOVE THIS SONG FIVE STARS .

  • Imagine ACDC doing this song.... or did they?

  • I saw Bob Seger in 1986 on his American Storm tour and that show still ranks as one of my favourites. Rock 'n Roll never forgets.

  • my dad took me to that tour for my 13th birthday. i have seen hundreds of shows in my life, and that still ranks as untouchable. the baddest dude on the planet. my first rock n roll hero.

  • Was the entire crowd on NyQuil or something? You're at a freaking Seger show. How's about a little enthusiasm?

  • The voice of rock. If you don't appreciate bob you just don't like rock and roll.

  • theres not 1 good seger vid on youtube, crowd seems to be really into it?!, what a joke.....

  • The man who taught little Glenn Frey how to be a rock star

  • Well Glen Frey may be a rock star but he never learned how to rock.

  • one of the best songs ever

  • the quintescence of rock and roll...thx for posting

  • Wish I could have been their. Bobs the Best.

  • his voice is great live- just as good as the studio-

    real talent

  • Good god almighty! They were surely in top form here. Bob's vocals stay strong right on through. Amazing! btw-who's the guy putting the hurt on that gold top? Great guitar work.

  • Saw Bob in Miami at about this same time. I said then and I say to this day...

NOBODY stays truer to the songs you are accustomed to hearing and singing along with or gives a better live performance than BOB SEGER.

  • God Bless Frankie Miller

  • Thanks for the vid. Seger is Awesome.

SilverBullet band says FU to the e street band.

  • hahahaha

  • bob wrote some of the best rock and roll songs ever and this is a fine example. he explains so much human motivation with simple theme

  • Seger is truly a philosophical poet with his hard-hitting and real world lyrics.

  • Should have done this as a duet with Tina Turner. Can you just imagine what electricity there would be on stage. Thanks for posting. Bob Segar, roc n Roll rules.

  • Bob seger always gives 100%. The sound quality is tinny( it's old) yet his voice is strong. He never sounds tired.

  • This is a cool song...but the quality of the video isn't the best.

  • hey u guys kno the lyrics "It Happens Out In Vegas Happens In Moline" I LIVE IN MOLIE ISNT DAT AWESOME!!!

  • get a better guitar player!

  • does he say thats why they call me nigga

  • why the hell are they sitting down?

  • this concert happened right after a couple of guys got trampled to death at a Who concert in cincinnati because there werent any seating

so they didnt want something like that to happen

  • Saw Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band in Fresno back in about 77-78. Great concert, bad ass rock & roller. Still love the old tunes. Great memories. Rock on.

  • I saw that tour as well. Talk about true hard old school Rock n' roll. The kind a guitar solo's that get your blood pumping!

  • Not when you steal it and then claim it as your own it isn't !!

  • You're looking mighty fine in this video Bob.

  • Stolen from Frankie Miller...Shame on Bob Seger.

  • C'mon blues is blues and borowwed with respect...

  • lol listen to srv's crossfire, lick sounds similar dont it

  • Crossfire was released in 1989 and Fire Down Below in 1976 on the Night Moves Album.

  • You tell'em!!

  • Not to mention its a pretty common bluesy progression..

  • @safeway56 it's not "Stolen" He's a Frankie Fan. He recorded "Ain't Got No Money" - A Frankie Miler Song on "Stranger In Town" Album.

  • @Iancrockert that´s right...

  • @safeway56 Its not thieving bob seger took this song , and did better then Frankie Miller ... Its only thieving when your version sucks more then the original example: Van Halen doing Roy Orbison's pretty woman , now thats thieving... Bruce Springsteen doing Jerry Lee Lewis's Pink Cadillac isn't thieving (its just as good maybe slightly better) :)

  • @safeway56 It's a two way street. A lot of people might not have heard of Frankie Miller had it not been for Seger's version, and it is a great version, at least he didn't butcher it.

  • Looks like Niel Diamond singing backup

  • Here comes ol' Rosie!!!

  • Shes looking mighty fine.

  • Great vid, thanks. What made the original Ramblin' Gamblin' Man was the thunderous drum intro by Pep Perrine. He actually grafted on giant ductwork elbows to his elevated drumkit, so they pointed at the audience like a pair of cannons. That was Detroit in the late 1960s, friends.

  • Gibson Les Paul...the choice of many of the world's finest rockers.

  • RAMBLIN' GAMBLIN' MAN sure sounds different from the original 1969 studio version(Seger's band was then The Bob Seger System) and the live 1975 version from LIVE BULLET.

  • YEEEEEES!!!!!

Traveled all the way to NYC to see Bob in sold out Madison Square Garden. It was my birthday, and what a birthday. The man is a tornado. Every single soul in there was really shaking, body and soul. Seger is the ultimate Rock star. Grab his latest album if you can. Easily levels his earlier Night Moves, Sttanger in Town and Against the Wind. Long Live Bob!!! and tour again. Thrill of a life time.

  • By any chance, were you talking about September 12 and 13,1980? I just saw a backstage pass for those dates on Ebay. How awesome of Seger to perform at an NYC venue that is dominated by Billy Joel and some other New York natives.

  • Hey! I`m talking about Jan, 25, 2007.

Wow!! Get goose bumps everytime I remember.

    Cheers!!

  • Now that you mention it,Seger did do a show at Madison Square Garden last year. Seger is my father's all-time favorite rocker(well, one of them) and I seriously considered buying us tickets for the show despite the 1,000+ mile distance from our Nokomis,Florida home. I would have bought us plane tickets as well. No sacrifice is too great for a man like my father.

  • paulreno10....shut up

  • newt1972....No!

  • The nancy he's singing about is my aunt, boichs

  • It's a rendition, of course. FM is great! But Seger is greater.

  • Rip off? Sorry, but the unlisted RAMBLIN' GAMBLIN' MAN following THE FIRE DOWN BELOW was all Seger's own.

  • amazing song heard it on the radio for the first time the other day i wish i could go back in time to see bob seger and silver bullet

  • Takes me back to the keg parties out in the pastures of north GA. This is Rock and Roll!

  • bob seger fan from way back, saw him in largo

    great show,good video combo

  • hey fuckhead the band is spelled lynyrd skynyrd.

  • A compliment to your "On the Hunt" by Lynard Skynard. LOL Sailingcondor. Peace to you.

  • Hello Sailingcondor, are you looking for chicks standing on corners with a mattress on their back? I came back from New Orleans once and told my Dad that I saw hookers, and he said how you know did they have mattresses on their backs. LOL

  • I only wish bands would do a live dvd every album. could you imagine having every song live like night moves, hollywood nights live bullet !!!!!

    omg

  • treble ftw>> not.

  • Saw Bob twice on this past tour. Rumor has it that a Live CD/DVD is to be released this fall from the March 2007 shows at Cobo & Joe Louis Arena in his hometown of Detroit... I love Seger... But don't hold your breath! I hope that he releases a professional DVD maybe more than anyone...

  • What is his tour schedule? can't find it anywhere..going to see him this time round

  • Nice bonus with that Ramblin' Gamblin' Bob. Great stuff.

  • thank you so much tangent5000 ♥

  • Anybody know why Seger doesn't release a professional quality dvd so us fans don't have to resort to these basement, copy of a copy videos?

  • Mr Seger has stated in the past that he does not like music videos becaue they take away from the music.

  • @tangent5000 cuz he's a basement band kind of guy. and that's how we do things in MI!

  • @tangent5000 Good Question ? I wish someone had an answer for it ? BTW, is Bob in The Rock n Roll Hall ?

  • @tangent5000 he's not born in Detroit he';s really born in Katmandu

  • @tangent5000 he sucks worse than me?

  • @tangent5000 because he's a basement band. it you want to see good quality, do yourself a huge favor and go see him in person. then it won't matter cuz it will always be in your head.

  • Ditto Jesse again. Guess we just love Seger.

  • great paino solo!!

  • Nice find, man. Good sound for 1980. Love Seger
