Broodlords are siege units. You need a ground army to back them up and position them well. I don't get why some zergs just charge their broodlords in. You don't see Terrans charging in their siege tanks into enemy lines...

@PenCrisis Brood Lords have a high health pool and are not as vulnerable to damage as you would think - of course, you need units to escort them nevertheless. I wouldn't call them siege units, though, they are your basic high-tier anti mech unit and are also pretty cool against any mix of protoss ground units.

True, but all the races have some type of long-range siege unit type. Terrans = Tank. Protoss = Collosus. Zergs = Brood Lords. Yet, I've only seen zergs charge into enemy lines with their siege unit, brood lords. Just because it has a lot of HP doesn't mean it isn't a siege unit that should be used carefully and thoughtfully.

@PenCrisis What would you attack with? Ground units are blocked by FF and get crushed by the colossi, corruptors can take out the colossi but get taken down by stalkers and cost food. Mutalisks are okay against stalkers (at least in Destiny's hands), but they die to psy storms. Since roaches get roasted even if they try to crawl under the forcefields, broodlords appear to be the only units that are not damaged by colossi, not blocked by forcefields and deal constant damage to ground units.

Brood lords are useless against stalkers unless you micro them correctly. NEVER in the front. A critical mass of stalkers will start one shotting brood lords, making them absolutely useless. i THINK if you place them in the back so that theres no way the stalkers can blink under the broodlords than he would have stood a better chance.

OR if he had went infestor ultralisk. Ultras eat stalkers like delicious candy.

I think we should all stop picking on HD so much. Sure, he makes inappropriate assumptions, he exaggerates and contradict himself a lot, but he seems like a really good guy and he does cast for our free entertainment.

So even though "very very VERY late game" isn't around the 10 min mark, "a ton" isn't 1 or 2 and "scramble" shouldn't be used EVERY TIME YOU BUILD A UNIT, I really enjoy his casts. So let's be nice and share the love of SC2! <3

Protos ist very strong, has tons of good units each unit rock like hell, but they have forcefields which they can even fuck the oponent totaly so even if you have 10times the money you nearly have no change. Tier 3 of protos is totaly worthless crap against protos. So yes you can win anyway if you are 10 times better than the protos but dont be such excited over a typical slater, remove forcefields to come even
