Did you really make some hydrogen and put it in that container or did you just fill that container with the lighters gas? Lighter gas is usually butane or something like that.

thats so easy to make but its very cool

just take an small can. fill it with hydrogen H2(g) and oxygen O (g) and make an hole in it thats the same size of an bbq lighter.
