I'm a freak for good guitar, and for years have held Chet Atkins, Mark Knopfler, Albert Lee, and James Burton in special regard. The more I catch some of Jerry Garcia"s acoustic work, the more I am convinced that he belongs with the others, and - who knows - maybe at the top. And of course his pedal steel intro and line through CSNY's "Teach the Children" is unmatched.
