@SteamSapper They are special crates that drop at the rate of a hat, so it is pretty rare. In that crate are some good weps - ullapool, holy mackerel, gunslinger, kritzkrieg and machina. Machina is the most valuable one and ullapool is the worst one.

@xmrtuxedox99 Well the machina itself isn't THAT valuable. Its when you add an attribute to it like "Genuine" or "Strange" that it becomes special. This is because a "Genuine" item is oftenly a bonus you get when preordering a game on steam. Like for example you get the Genuine Machina if you preordered Deus Ex: H R. You can't obtain it any other way. And the strange weapons are unique in the way that they "level up" and gain a new prefix the more kills you get with them.

The only real use for Strange Machinas is selling them to rich idiots. Plus 15% damage for a weapon that 1-hit kills? AND NO NO-SCOPING? The ONLY redeemable quality is the multi-headshot ability, which almost never happens. I'll stick to a REAL weapon, my Strange Sniper Rifle, and wait for VALVe to a make the Strange Huntsman.
