Water shouldn't get cooler. This is like putting a small ice cube in a bucket full of water. Water temp might go down a tenth of a degree, but it won't be noticable.

Also, it's harmless to the pool, as the dry ice just boils off. Just don't breath the smoke, because CO2 in high concentration is poisonous.

Liked the video a lot. But, making the dry-ice bombs out of plastic bottles was pretty uncool with kids that close. In truth, those things are VERY dangerous and you could have EASILY hurt someone. Glad no-one got hurt. But, you could see how far they flew and how much power they had. DANGEROUS.

(also, you only need about an inch of water in the bottle and a couple pieces of dry ice. It may take a little longer to explode but it will still work.)
