@VenusHighSensai There is the diference between male and female. Male are more colorful and have bigger fins. Go to Adrian Tapin site and you will see the pictures. You can google it also
This is a great looking freshwater aquarium with a nice selection of fish. I have never seen an aquarium where all the fish are swimming against the current. Very interesting to watch the fish swim in unison. Thanks for a nice video.
@Sammysioux Having caught rainbowfish in the wild, I can tell you that this is exactly what they do in a stream situation. It is really awesome to see.
I see in your comments that this is a 130g tank but you need to put that in your description, otherwise you are going to get a lot of comments about over crowding.
what lighting do you have to make the colors look so bright? I have many rainbowfish, but they don't look as colorful as yours. I have lacustrus, boesmani, bleheri, multisquamatus males as well. All my females are pretty plain looking too. I feed spirulina/mix flake food also.
My tank has black sand and black background. I should make a video also.
The trick with Rainbows and colour is that you need nice clean water more than anything and never over crowed. The tank in this vid is a perfect example of nice clear water and happy bows. One of my Rainbow tanks has very dark water due to driftwood tannins which really makes it hard to see some of the colours in the more iridescent types of Rainbows.

Beautiful tank and rainbows. You've inspired me. I've now got three different kinds of rainbows in my 125 gallon, and have just ordered three more different kinds.
Simple. The tank is big enought. If they dont like this why they stay on the front of the power head. This are my fish from 3-4 years.I realy know them believe me
hello very nice tank, how large is it? I have a 60"x20"x 24" whihc i want to populate with rainbows and Densioni barbs, just trying to gauge how large your tank is.

It's 500 liter tank. Of course not crowded. I still have this tank and most of the fish are still alive. One happy commune for more then 2 years.
