If I understand you correct my answer is: you can get 4WD in a 911, Carrera 4 or Turbo... no need to buy a ugly car!! It´s all about money,, they all know 99.9% dont give a damn about what they drive... no enthusiast would buy a freak-car like MB A-class for example.. or a 1 series or X3 and so on .... In my opinion Porsche should only focus on sportscar (911) and a company like BMW should only build coupe´s and sedans whit 6-cylinder minimum...

Id say the Maserati Gran Turismo S is the best car on the market at the moment. It may not have the handling of a porsche but for a combination of looks, practicality, prestige and speed i dont think it can be bettered. another thing...if you actually take time to look at a ferrari carefully theyre not really that great looking. ppl just assume they are because its a ferrari. especially the 430.

it depends in what, prestige and name, sure. But not in reliability, Japanese cars have the best quality build of them all you can't deny that. they are both different tho, they have different images...the way i see it, German cars are like buffed up beasts: fast and strong. Why would you compare a Z06 to a GT? The price range is 10000x miles apart. If you take the different that you would pay for a GT and mod a Z06 then compare? I love CARS, and I love this car. I have to admite that the Z06 is the best value supercar you can buy, it costs the same as a based 911 and it has 3x the performance.
ZR1 is a great car. but 911 is better than any Z06. and GTR is better than both. 911 gt3 is as good as GTR but costs way more yeah. Z06 aint a supercar, its an average sports car, that can be tunined to be a Dragster with like 1200hp but stilll never gonna be a supercar.
I think a nissan gtr could beat that

only 911 has engine in rear since its based on VW beetle. carrera GT his mid mounted engine , the boxter and cayene have front mounted engines.
please check facts first and this wiil keep you from sounding ignorant.
