  • Is there any tabs for this song? =)

  • just a Q how do you get the song playing & play bass & both are heard clear? i have a studio & iv no idea how you do that lol

  • What a great video, check out my Jamiroquai video and don't forget to subscribe!

  • your tone makes this groove even groovier! :D

  • good job, just 1 tip, you have to mute better each notes, to make a really good cover,.. you can do this with your fingers( control the time of execution of each note) or with your palm, like a guitar..

sorry about my poor english, cheers from Chile ;)

  • Nice cover man!

What settings did you have on your bass and amp?

I'm trying to nail this exact tone with my corvette standard.

    Thanks, keep it up!

  • Nice ,very smooth .BRAVO!

  • I wish I was good enough to justify buying a warwick. They sound so amazing.

  • @Nireves33

If you want one and you can afford it, get it !

You don't have to justify anything to anyone, fuck what everyone else thinks

  • @Nireves33 dude i'm not even good enough for an OLP ghe, I bought a second hand Warwick and never regretted it. The sound is always wickalicious, and it sounds better imo than any fender I've ever heard or seen. especially when paired with a nice Eden amp.

  • Nice Bass!!!

  • ese Hut!!!

  • preciso!

  • Very,very smooth.

  • the top part of that bass looks like a dildo xD

  • i enjoy that bass. a lot

  • very good! bravo! thumb up

  • @leogold75 this guys version is better the warwick really blends in well with the music and eccentuates the style hes executing here verywell dun jabbahd carefull with that thumb strumming the low be keep it pressed in the back of the neck and it'll also help you press harder on the string other than that your great man!

  • bit boaring

  • Listen my version...

  • Hmmmmm!! Acid jazz!!! I love what jamiroquai used to be.... Not anymore!!!

  • great that mate

  • wow. really nice!!

  • actually i think corvettes at guitar center r really low like half price. i bought a corvette FL for around 600$ and its a 1600$ bass

  • sounds great, really good tone.

BUT if i could give one peice of advice, it would be to watch your thumb wrapping around the B string. When you keep it posted on the back of the neck like you do for a good part of the video, it just makes things so much easier for you in the long run

  • i thing its around 1500$ to 1000$

  • how much was the bass?

    im loving it

  • Great performance...What kind of amplifier did you use for this video?...What kind of effects did you use on your Line 6 Pod to get this sound?...Nice job!!!

  • foda em amigo!!

  • Very nice

  • крутяк! такого у меня еще нет))

  • Awesome song and bass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice one

  • warwick corvette standard ? bubinga o frassino ?

  • not standard, its the proline model, year 2000

  • @thebass89 That´s not bubinga XD...bubinga s more red.

  • @tiroso Woods are whatever color you stain or paint them.

  • @DethCaek That doesn't make this bass bubinga, though.

  • almost perfect, good cover

  • nice sound! I love warwicks. I too am a proud owner and cant get enough of the bottomy growl that they are known for. great job!

  • Great song to play, very funky, very groovy man

  • Very nice. Love that Warwick growl.

  • soooo good man tath was a nice kick thank you

  • sick bassline! i wanna learn this one.

  • sounds like the album well done

  • man i wanna groove like you. i need a mic or something..check my version.

  • Hey!-I wrote the verse b-line!-Played by Andrew Levi in fact!

    Good job

    Peace

  • Great playing. I love the Bass POD XT. I bought that for recording bass, but it now has become my effects driver for my guitar setup live. I just bypass all the amp/cab stuff and use the effects.

  • so i got a rock bass and it sucksss warwick ar the greatness tho but rockbass thumbs down

  • Sweet sounding bass mate...

  • well done

  • stuart zender for ever!! XD

  • is this playable on a 4 string bass??

  • yes

  • off corse!whit 4 strings i'ts the same!

  • i think it should be, since the aditional string its before the E

  • sorry no soul!!!!! pure mathematic!!!!

  • Hahahaha

  • Well I must say I love the sound of your Warwick. However I think you didn't get everything right. You hardly played any dead notes that are in the song (although I might have just overheard some) and you played most of the variations of the verse either wrongly or in the wrong order. Listen to the song again. It's still a very good attempt though.

  • What bass is that?

Looks like my Warwick STD5 Ash Corvette (but not purple)

  • watch my version of this gread song...

  • that sure gets annoying Rob1.

  • wow man its like listening to the CD!!!!! @.@

  • nice

  • Excellent sound produced and well played...Love it

  • Sounds just like I'm listening to the CD. Excellent work!

  • O.. played nice!.. I've got a Corvette Rockbass! XD

  • hey jabbahd, are you satisfied about the line 6 bass pod? how are the effect and all?

    greets ron

  • JABBAH xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • man, today i got the bass pod xt pro ,really cool thingy right? hey i connected it to the parallel return, how did you do it?

  • great groove, really enjoyed this one

  • cool men

  • NICE BASS!

  • LAMERFENER, who's playing then? Andrew Levy on all the songs?

  • Andrew Levy played on this trck only...Everything else on this album is Zender

  • Nice bass man, and nice playing!

  • actually stu is not playing on this record.

  • Awesome! But u skip the tiny bass fill right before the didgeridoo solo ends..

  • Played on a Warwick Corvette Proline 5 strings through a Line6 Bass Pod Pro XT dumbass

  • lol stfu "brain surgeon"

  • very nice...The sound of your bass..wow!!! Let me know what bass did you use on this video

  • not bein funny but if u dont no what a warwick is then u probably cant afford one lol

  • Tom Lewis, why would that matter?

You can pick up a Rockbass for about £250 if you know where. You don't need to break the bank to afford a damn nice bass...

  • rockbass is to warwick, what squier is to fender or epiphone is to gibson, not the same thing at all.... warwicks start at around 700 quid

  • And? You know you're just paying for the name half the time. Its the same materials, perhaps gathered and manufactured in an outsourced company which makes them cheaper, so not to piss original Warwick players off they named it Rockbass.

  • orrr they are basically the same shape, and made in the same place, but warwicks are made of much higher quality wood and have better finishes and have much better pickups - so sound much better

  • i agree with both of you. you cna get a mighty fine rock bass for cheap, but i also agree with tommy when i say that the warwicks are really a whole level up. but both are good bass's

  • That bass is a Corvette Proline anyway, they're nice basses - I had a white maple six string some years ago (serial no. 000014!) and it was a lovely player. Had to sell it to pay off a bank loan in 1999. :(

  • i never used to like warwick but they are starting to grow on me. i want one of there 5 strings

  • It's not Stuart Zender on this track! It's Andrew Levy from the Brand New Heavies (read the liner notes). Zender was fantastic on those records, though. Definitely an under-rated player.

  • enfermo! :P

  • Ese Jabba!!!

Warwick times are back, Stu powah!
