I'm getting this phone from my mom in a couple of days, once she gets her new phone. I like it, but there's one problem: I'm having a hard time converting audio to ringtones. Does anyone know how to do that? My dad did it for me once, but I totally forget, and it took him forever to figure it out the first time.

Get the moto Q's more the 9c for the best third party apps . Also the battery life Is always an issue but better with the Q-9c Good graphics good sound. the lag always been and will be a problem. :) but i can deal with that. The Texting Is easy as ever with this phone. I do not have sprint but I must say... a solid phone. best for having fun and little talking. Keep the convos short enouph and enjoy. Also Moto phones live off of the chargers. Over charging Is not bad... so far good upgrade.

alltels is really good to verizon sucks, i had the curve with verizon and i had to replace it and then i had to switch cuz all there calls dropped

Amazing phone. I have it but I'm selling it. Changed phone provider and I cannot use this phone with my new company (Alltel). I already bought the same phone for Alltel which runs on WM 6.0 and no GPS on it. If interested on my Sprint phone go to EBAY and check for item 180354309907 (copy & paste the number ). Thanks

I have this phone and its great. My only problem is that it doesnt have picture mail. You can recieve pics but you cant send them. You also cant send multiple text. You have to individually pick each name and send a seperate text. But other than that this phones is great! A great business phone.

if you wanna send pix mail you just have to select a text its like mms or sms text one of those....i had it for alltel and thought that i couldnt send them for a while as well but i found that if you choose i think mms it should show picture messaging

you can send more than one text to a person just keep typing names in the contacts part. like after the first one goes in type another one...

One thing I really love about this phone, well, many things, but a few I love are the high quality stereo speakers, the easy to use interface, the large high def display, and...heh....You don't have to buy ring tones for it...ever....drag and drop, love it! Well...for the VZW one anyone, don't know if Sprint over rode that.

Get the enV2 instead because honestly the q9c is an overpriced piece of junk. This is verizons worst phone, the employees even said so. It has so many bugs mainly because theyre trying to put so much stuff on one small device. Don't get the q9c.

The Verizon Q9m is messed up(the verizon software sucks).I have the Q9c from Sprint and it works great.Sprint doesn't cripple its phones like Verizon does.

You have to go to taskmanager (start, system tools, taskmanager) and kill all. I've also turned off word suggestions - settings, text input settings. This should help. If you still encounter problems, I would bring the phone into a sprint store and have them look into it

1. TCPMP RC7.2 core media player

2. FLV plugin 0.4.2

You can do a google search and look for the cab version of these programs.

spectec has a mini-sd wifi. Amazon carries them, and you can find merchants on ebay. The prices are $40-60. I don't recommend, cause you lose the external storage, and wifi only works when ur near a hotspot.

i am having trouble activesync my Q to my computer and its telling me something about outlook i installed 2007 and when i set it up and ask me to log on i put my password in and everything i click ok and never logs on so can you help me?

You need to download the latest activesync program from windows website. If it that doesn't solve your problem, I would do a master-reset on the q9c(start, system tools, master-reset) , and reinstall the activesync CD that came with the phone.

This is an excellent review! You helped me decide what to get on my next phone. Do you know if Sprint Power Vision plan is enough to use this phone? When you said "data plan", is it same as the power vison plan? Thanks again! Best reivew I ever seen.

Yes, the sprint power vision plan applies to all smartphones (moto q9c, blackberrys etc.). Its basically a fancier name for a 'data plan' - which is basically, email, internet browsing, messaging.

You need to sign up with sprint sero to get 'free internet/email' with this phone. Check out the comments of my other videos and you can get more information there.

Yup, as far as I know the only mini-sdWifi card is made from Spectec. It goes for $40-70, Amazon carries one from Spectec has one for about $60, and its designed to work with the q9C

Yes, but you limited number of channels (cnn, fox news, weather network, disney channel, nfl network, E!). You can also subscribe to more free channels, but content is limited. Everything else you have to pay for - ranges between 4 - 20 dollars per month

Yes it does... It has microsoft outlook, so you have calendar, as well as notes, sync'd to your computer. You can also download third party apps with notification alerts, and alarms... 'schedy mobile' is a nice free program.
