I rolled a Squig Herder during the preview weekend, and had 1st in contribution almost every time in the public quests. At lvl 6 i obtained an epic bow from one.

lol same ive just started and i allways seem to get the highest contribution its so cool :D

Not that I plan to play a healer but do they take into consideration heals as "contribution" to the public quest? If not then thats pretty lame and will deter people from practicing party tactics.

But ultimately heals will help thing get done faster, i.e. more chances for loot in an allotment of time.

Yes it keeps track of that, if your doing your job well its easy to end up in the top contrib for PQ's

Good stuff, was something they didn't take into acount for like 2-3 years on WoW. Looks like they are looking at all the aspects.

Healers often do better than other classes on the PQ +rolls. It's hard to see from this video but i came first just by healing.
